One correction : Iron dome is not the only system that israel has. From what I read on internet(so take it with a grain of salt) : Iron dome is a short range defense system, and not meant for ballistic missiles. What they used yesterday were the Arrow missile family and Davids sling which are specifically meant to be anti ballistic systems

Just a heads up brother, the Iron dome is useless against ballistic missiles really and not technically meant for them either. However they have David's sling, the Arrow systems, patriot and ThAAD batteries. Iran did use their Fatah missiles amongst the rest also.
Also glad you reported on their success rate in the attack given the video evidence, since Israel and the US are having trouble admitting it 😅

India is too large a country to suffer a debilitating attack from any saturation attack to a very large extent.
Also India must have spread its strategic, defensive and command and control assets in wide areas over the mainland.
India shud have a large number of interceptor batteries and the missiles shud be in the ratio of say 1:3- in a exo-atm, endo-atm, MR varieties.
Additionally KALI like systems may prove to be of great benefit at Short Ranges.

Iron Dome is not an anti ballistic missile system, it's C-RAM. It not meant to intercept Ballistic missiles, the David's sling and Arrow series are Israel's ABM defence system.
If Iran can overwhelm world's most advanced and dense ABM defence systems than Pakistan and China can do that to India too.

Alpha defence Wale bhaiya, it's not mandatory to intercept every missile because the CEP of these missiles are awful and don't fall on target and if a radar is tracking these ballistic missiles it knows where it would fall and if it's an empty area there is no need to intercept it thus saving lots of interceptor missiles.
Radar can't track where missile will fall. Mossad base, airbase with f35, army base with tanks have been leveled completely. See the morning videos of strikes in news

Good point abt increasing the numbers & building the capability to saturate defense systems. I have no doubt that China is capable of even bigger attacks. Even Pakistan can use this tactic to incur heavy damage, given its proximity to national capital & other critical defense/command/civil areas. We should actively collaborate with Israel & West & focus our scientific talent in coming up with an effective defense against such attacks. Some solutions are already in R&D stage, such as Laser or Microwave based systems. I am hopeful that solution will be found soon.

India doesn't need to use saturation tactic cos we have already inducted Brahmos in large numbers which can be used to take out the air def systems first... After which less advanced systems can do the job.
Israel needs to develop Laser Defense System with american funding and support.
We had our naval ship in Iran, that went there for some not so needed excercise.
Correction please : Iron Dome was specifically designed to fend off short-range rocket and missile attacks from neighbouring militant groups and ballistic missile defence is ment to be done by mainly Arrow & David's Sling systems which has much expensive larger missiles with lower number of launchers.
As i am always saying, nobody is still talking how are we going to defend this kind of attack, Iran used cheaper missiles and Israel has the favor of western intelligence & distance to get heads up and 12 to 15 min warning time to track and determine targeted locations. Our force's don't have any of these luxuries to go for we need systems that can rapidly engage multiple targets and reload quality for the next round. Our missiles are top of line with world's best navigation and targeting system's but that doesn't come cheap. We need a cheaper line of longer range missiles mass-produced.
US Navy also contributed to counter these incoming Iranian projectiles, not only Israel

Important thing you didn't mentioned was Ballistic hypersonic cruise missiles launched by Iran which could not be intercepted....Indian BMD is still in development phases and their tests comparison vis a vis other imported systems like Spyder and S 400 is still not known... Therefore it will be naive to be dependent on them when adversary attacks on especially two fronts . God save us ...
