I think the concern about 2.0-2.7 units struggling in the 3.0 patches is a bit overstated. Unlike 1.0 units, which were heavily focused on hyper-carry strategies (buffing a single DPS to brute-force content), the 2.0 patches introduced true team archetypes: follow up attack teams, super break, DoT-centric teams, and the Acheron debuff playstyle. These archetypes created much stronger synergy and specialization, which give 2.0 units a much more solid foundation to thrive even in evolving metas like the upcoming summon meta. Sure, the new Remembrance path and its memosprits will bring power creep, but it won’t invalidate 2.0 units the way 2.0’s team archetypes made many 1.0 hyper-carry units obsolete. The specialization and efficiency of 2.0 units make them more adaptable to future content, and they’ll likely still hold their own in the 3.0 patches.
For now I'm going to skip Sunday, because I fully expect that when the summon equivalent to Firefly comes out they will rerun Sunday the same way they reran Ruan Mei when Firefly released.
I think people overreacting too much. In every hoyo games, Version 1.X and some parts in 2.X are where their games have not yet understand what they want to do so expect some powercreep to appear. People saying Genshin have no powercreep but look at their 1.X roaster compared to 2.X it's like heaven and earth. And then move to 2.X to 3.X things have been slowing down in powercreep (mostly also because they don't care about Endgame at that time compared to HSR)
As a somewhat new player this scares me, I just hope IL is still a good 5 star for atleast one endgame mode. I did invest into Sunday though for the Remembrance meta... so hopefully it pays off. 🥲

Castorice is going to cause so much hp inflation... 😢

they just have to keep all the character around the same strenght so that hp inflation dosnt skyrocket

I can bet that 3.X in HSR won't really show much of DMG increase unless it's very popular character (like Archon in Genshin)
