This actually looks good. It is true, most (if not all) of the Dreamworks rides are the only saving grace of Motiongate. It does make me curious if this ride is going to be the one to come to Universal Hollywood next year, or if it'll be something else. Either way, this ride, along with the Dragons ride, deserve to come to the Universal Parks.
To be fair, I actually enjoyed Motiongate. Sure it lacks atmosphere, because it is very quiet - but in my opinion its a trade off. You miss a bit of the magical atmosphere of the big American theme parks, but you also miss 90 minute queues for the best rides. There were some pretty good rides at Motiongate, more are opening all the time and as the park gets better known and with better transport links I am sure the guests and the atmosphere will follow. Either way to answer your point more directly, both this ride, the Dragon Fliers (which was my favourite) and a couple of other rides, would not be out of place at Universal or Islands of Adventure :)

Its in the new theme park. Its easy to get to and a lot of the hotels have a free bus. However a few people have picked up on this and some have said it is in Universal Hollywood now
