I don’t know how I would have kept my faith in people and maintaining human connections after the last few months without your weekly lectures. The way you explain the astrology and tie it to a thesis then compare it to a movie or story and the way you narrate it is extremely engaging. Always love your posts and impressed with you knowledge. As someone with a degree in Photography and minored in Art History, and survived and passed Dr. McElroy’s History of Photography classes, I wholly approve of your presentation…!!! I would only add that early photographers also photographed deceased children as “momento mori”, which is where the term “sleeping beauty” comes from, as they were always presented as sleeping posthumously. So Neptune illusion again..!!
Also, another source of income was the early practice of “calling cards”, wherein high society would have their portrait taken and present a photographic “card” with their name to the houseman and which was this presented to the lady or Lord of the house while the “caller” would wait outside to be determined if they were allowed to enter at the pleasure of their host. Of course their portraits were always taken in the best light with their beat clothes and thus a bit illusory again.

My God...what a journey you took us all on today. At first, as I was in my Tempur-Pedic bed, and it was early, I fell asleep. How Neptunian is that? The second time around I was dressed and awake and spell bound. At the end I cried. I cried for the first time I saw those 2 first episodes of Star Trek. But this time it is with 50 years of living, studying, and exploring. The way you encapsulate the many threads of your carpet are truly mesmerizing. Thank you again and again.

Oh, wow, that ending! We as humans do so much to create illusions for our own comfort! Of course, there are the illusions of novels, film, TV and (very powerfully) music. But also, there's interior decoration, fashion, cooking . . . we alter reality all the time and sometimes come to think of it as reality. Not a bad thing. And sometimes, life does imitate art and turns those illusions into a reality.

This is an exceedingly beneficial challenge to my thought process…so very good for me thank you…you give images of a forgotten or discarded thread of his-story regarding spiritualism…little if any intuition or intuitive reality was acknowledged to be important for our advancement of the human race…nor engaged or real and respected by anyone but the wealthy…such as monarchies…business men…all hush hush…thus keeping humans from progressing and strengthening and practicing using our finer senses…linear scientific proof was god it seems even back then…thankfully we’ve progressed past the burning and the destroying of people who use their senses…and may know more than others allowing for an advantage…I want to know everything I can about being human…you trigger good learning thanks ❤

I struggle with Neptune square Mars in my natal chart. Trying to find the "highest and best" attitude has been a challenge my whole life... perhaps part of that has to do with being "less appreciative" of the veil..?? Thank you for this video.. I'm thinkin' that I'll find it very, very useful.

Another big event from 1845-1857 was the famine in Ireland caused by the potatoe blight and the cruelty of the English rulers at the time. Millions of Irish people died or fled Ireland to the USA, Australia and around the globe. This in no small part influenced the revolution in 1916 which threw out British rule. I have my moon/Ascendant/mercury in Pisces 1H. Now that Neptune is slowly leaving Pisces, everything is so clear to me. I have a habit of drifting off and envisioning things as I want them to be. I've been this way since childhood. It's very difficult to navigate daily life sometimes.

1984 - 1998 has to do with greed is good? no i dont think thats the right word, id say more corporate and doing things in a big way... greed is just an after effect or a by-product of that. if anything last 10 years are the days real of greed. look at all the scams out there today compared to the productive and innovative people doing things in 84-98. Everything we have today is because of innovation, not greed. Greed is good is your perception of that time period but is not actually true.
Ah! The story of the Spiritualists! So interesting. Of course it’s associated with Neptune /Pisces. There is still a camp in Maine, I think.
