Hi Richard. I have used Uber a few times. Usually from an airport. A really great guy saved me after a flight was cancelled. I found an Uber driver to drive me 2 hours to my home from Dulles. He was an excellent driver. Nice young man from Afghanistan. My daughter and her husband are a one car couple. They go everywhere together also or her husband rides rapid transit or the train to work. They live and work in bigger cities.

@@Rip1Outdoors for the last two weeks it was going up pretty quick now it seems to slow down and of course it doesn’t really matter. I don’t have the hours in yet I’m more than halfway there. I just got to get an E bike company to have faith in me.

We do not have armadillos but we have large ground hogs. They do damage as do the moles. Tore up our yard good. Up in Maine they have porcupine. I knew you were either busy with work or family or bad weather or not feeling well. I understand totally and do not question it.

I use my bike to drop off my truck for service all the time. Definitely better than an Uber, or even bothering friends or family to pick you up.

@@Rip1Outdoors Just today some cyclist got killed by an SUV while riding over one of those bridges that have a share the road sign, which is as effective as a protective court order against a dangerous individual.

I still haven't ever used an Uber. I still drive myself everywhere. I have used Taxis before, like when I travel to get to the hotel from the airport, but normally I get a ride to airport from someone I met in the hotel or convention. It still feels unsafe to me. We have had a few University students killed over the years due to getting in what they thought was their Uber, but because they were looking and texting on their phone they just got into a murderer's car instead.
