The reason why Naiad is so strong on eversleeping is that the map is made for loop kiting imo. Almost every kiting areas use loops, I think this is Naiad's best map along with China town
it's because the map is relatively small yet with good harpoon angles (unlike red church) and how tile barren it is
you have to play a tile somewhat against naiad 'til you're forced out of it, but for most of eversleeping you basically have nowhere to go to put a pallet or window before taking a hit, so the moment you run out of 'answers' like items/cooldowns you're pretty much doomed on the map (and naiad can eat through answers like nobody's business on a map like that)
I readed "Nightmare" with a COA thumbnail and i got too hyped
then i readed the whole title
Take it from my experience never get excited when you see a nightmare in COA 😭

Nightmare is literally the worst hunter in IDV. Imagine playing Nightmare... I have only seen Nightmare cooking the noobest of the noobest survivors ever. I am not even pro and I am sure I could kite Nightmare for 10 ciphers. LMAO

Not saying Polun is bad, but if you know how to counter and kite BW then it’s harder.
it's also that eversleeping is probably a bad map for him in higher level play
it's really open so can traverse the map super fast, but it's really open so survs that know how to counter-move against wheel take ages to get 2-spiked - particularly at 0 presence - so you become a bit like dbd's wraith where you go around the map really quick as a very fast pinata that's on a fast track to losing the match as your power is 'do nothing' ~ a wheel player

First match is way too w3t. Imo, Eversleeping town is one of Naiad's best map. Easy to angle the harpoon compare to other maps.
