I was born and raised in Dubai and only ever did bait and wait growing up there. I recently got back into fishing here in the Philippines and purchased a Light and medium setup. Thanks for the videos! subscribed and liked. 7la 7la!!!! Fish on!
From my experience Barracudas prefere slow retreival with pauses. With fast retreival you`'ll have succses only if the fish is too much active and dense.
Very informative vdeo and good content... Appreciated for your effort. Can you share some common lures that can perform best in gulf sea conditions for shore casting?
Hey man I'm a big fan and I was wondering when are you planning on releasing episode 2 , And I bought my shimano Sienna 4000 from your website it's amazing
where did you get this shirt my friend ? It carry the UAE Flag which is where I am from , I didnt know there are some lure fishing community there. Very useful tips btw
This day there is many different rods, you can start with fast type of rods and try different lures with. Usually for metal jigs and and crank baits I would use heavier test rod than the the lure, meaning if my jig is 30g I would use max 40-50g rod
Thanks for the tips. I've bought favorite n breeze recently, paired with daiwa ballistic 3000 dcxh. Usually I'm using light jig and ajing lures, but I also want to try light to medium hard body lures, minnows, do you thing neo breeze rod can handle that?
Neo breeze can handle many type of lure, but I suggest to keep your lure weight 5g less than the max rod casting weight, as it gets to heavy for it and you loose sensitivity
Hello Sir, would you have any advice on why I keep struggling with bad wind knots on braided line? I close the bail by hand, snip my fg knot tying my braid to flurocarbon and all. Could it be that I line twitch too much on light lures? Rod eyes are not small enough or spool on reel is not bevelled?
Wind knots can happen when your fg knot wraps are too much so for i do 20 wraps for my heavy set up and 30 wraps for my light set up. Or the lures could be too heavy for your rod so if it is i recommend you get a heavy tackle rod if you want to use big lures. Wind knot can happen when your put too much braid on your reel so make sure it isnt too much. You can try a 14-20 wraps for fg knot and for your heavy tackle rod & reel. And 20-30 wraps on your fg for your light tackle rod. But make sure you put enough wraps because if you put few wraps on your fg, the fg can slide off your leader and you would loose your leader and lure 😀 Hope that helps and have a good day
@@geo1698 Thanks I really appreciate your advice. I haven't had a single wind knot since I started fishing with an 8lb, 0.12mm braid. The line has some body and is not like sewing thread. I've bought some 12lbs 0.06mm braid yesterday. I reckon that casting small lures will go the distance but chances of wind knots will increase, isn't?
casting weight or the rod action 15/45 you can break it with 10g lure ;depending what force you apply when casting and line thikness , quality of the rod material and how is made.very informative video ,all the best
Nice video. 👍👍👍.. But most of my suspending lure are behave like very-slow sinking when I stop to retrieve it. Not just stay on the last depth. Greetings from Indonesia.. 😀
hey mate watched a few of your videos now! Just curious as to what setup your using clearly a biomaster 4000? im interested in what lb line and what rod you are using as it seems very versatile and throws alot of lures quite comfortably by the seems of your videos! also its action looks amazing!
+Leon Linstead hey, yes biomaster 4000 with 1.5 pe x8 that's 30 lb, I use two rods for lures one is favorite shooter 15-35g 2.88m and favorite neo breeze 15-45 2.7m this one has harder tip so I use it for jigging and more faster action with lures
Awesome cheers for the information mate! Excellent channel you have going here love the details and the information you give! Ive been going shore jigging my last two fishing attempts yet to catch anything but its coming into tailor season where i live so hopefully be able to bag a few of those badboys on jigs from the beach!!

Hi,
What type of rod can i use for shore based luring?
Rod that can: Metal Jig, Hard body crank baits, Soft plastic jigs

Nice! Keep it up
when fishing at rock, do I need to wait till the lure sinks to the bottom??

Check the quality of your braided line, it is better to use reputed brands and to use thinner and more rounded lines. I prefer x8 braid

Is it possible to add weight in floating lure to make it sink a little bit and to make it visible especially in deep water?tnx newbie angler here from philippines
Suspending lure is made for that, floating lures also dive in and will float up when u stop, suspending will stay on the same depth you played
do you have any recommendations on places to fish in Dubai?
Very useful tips friend, new subscriber
Thanks
nice!
This lure is underwater or top water???
Sir,,,,, What is the difference shallow water lure and top water lure. Can u reply me please.
Shallow water lure that mean you can use it for shallow water, it will not dive deep. Top water lures are floating lures that stay on the top water
I did
