Lay down in the grass at night, far from the lights from big cities, and admire the sky full of stars burning from far far distant and the splendor of the milky way, listening to this song.Scared and amazed by the consciousness of the immensity of the universe above us. What a spectacle.
Oh I am growing tired Of allowing you to steal Everything I have You're making me feel Like I was born to service you But I am growing by the hour You left us far behind So we all discard our souls And blaze through your skies So afraid to die 'Cause I was born to destroy you I am growing by the hour I'm getting strong in every way You led me on You led me on You Oh, I'm getting strong in every way
It's December 2022 And I can still smell the JP-8, the taste of sweet musty cool earth in the lite sand storms during the night time refueling of apache and S.F. chinooks This song is a testament to the sleepless nights and long days that bled into revolving around the refueling of those beautiful aerial ships I felt like I was born to service them and Ironicly this was one of about 61songs on my mp3 player from 2010-2011 That mp3 player and it's ear buds was what I used for 'hearing protection, as it was my go to while refueling the Apaches, Blackhawks, Little Birds, Kiowa, and Chinooks Getting to hear their arrival Pilot : "Work Horse F.A.R.P. -break-... this is Tail numbers 431 and 527.. -break-... we are one AH-64 and 1 UH-60 in bound for hot fuel at this time, how copy? -over-" It was always meserizing to see them come in, just to take back off into the night hearing the rotorwash and the chopiness of the blades as they would power up for take off I miss those cool sandy quite and sometime moon filled nights 🌙
I feel in my interpretation of the song, is the soul-crushing weight of all government systems currently in place upon the citizen. Although he feels a need to contribute "positively" to society, That he would sell his integrity like most people and go with it. He feels as if he was born to destroy it, not to become one with it. To make waves in modern apathy, and goes through a spiritual awakening of some sort. or whatever. Revolution starts with the heart.
Nihil/ /Exitus holy fuck! I know this song for six years now, and you perfectly described the way I have interpreted it ever since. Maybe the meaning of this song wasn't that subjective after all....
My theory is that the whole album its about the same love-hate-abusive relationship treated in Oos and Absolution, but those are some neat ideas you got there.
marc haik I'd rank them 7) The resistance 6) The 2nd law 5) Drones 4/3 tied) showbiz/black holes 2) absolution 1) origin of symmetry But I love all muse albums and songs near equally (yes, even the 2nd law)
@@MattJames1958 2nd law have good songs too, drones have some classic too and for the moment simulation theory is meh, but something human and the dark sides give me hope
+Mario Capistran It's because you are a selfish person who can't appreciate God's gift of life, His sacrifice for your salvation, and His plan for you to share His glory forever. Just like Satan, you refuse to serve Almighty God, despite His devotion to you out of pure love. You make angels in heaven weep. It's obvious you're distracted by the evils of the world. Anyone who had a true understanding of how lucky we are and how loving and powerful God is would never make such a statement.
This song is the reason I have Showbiz outside my personal top 4 favourite albums (including Hullabaloo). I would've preferred a song like Recess be on the album instead.
Te ciega tanto el fanatismo que no podes reconocer una obra de arte, además Tom Yorke no le da la voz para una interpretación de este nivel, por más buena voz que tenga.

The Great Sloth Lord Knights of Cydonia and Exogenesis are great examples too

Might be my favorite song from MUSE, I wish to hear a modern live version with heavy on the distortion in that one spot 2/3 of way through.
Best Muse song, you can't change my mind

So, what do you need to have inside your head, and mostly, how do you find the way to blend it all, to give to the world such artpiece?

I knew nothing about Muse until Absolution came out, and i was blown away by that album, but Showbiz absolutely destroys it in my opinion.
I think you should listen to Origin of Symmetry. I think these two albums are the best, the real Muse core and the two most amazing.
