Grossly under-rated tractor of the time: Pity that the Quality of Engineering left a lot to be desired. Had some frightening experiences with them - on a 3/42 alongside auld Peter on his10/60. However I later got the chance to work several Leylands ( 'blue nuffields' forthe uninitiated ) and although still "soft" could pull very well as a Basic Stock machine compared with the Massey or Ford at the time. Anyone wanting to quibble here, better take a detailed look at its performanceand setup. could have been pushed a little further without additional cost. Time for a Replay / re-record , perhaps ?
