That this happened does not change the proven cheap fakes out there. Biden had one bad night - but not as bad as Trump, it's just that the media and country are used to Trump being this bad. Biden did not do well. Trump did awful, but the bar for Trump is just so low that it is easier for Trump to hit the target than for Biden to hit the target set for him. Set the same expectations for the two and see if Biden's performance is as bad as it was being presented.
Biden did not do well and he really showed some lapses, and it was not good. Consider the contents of what they said, Trump's answers remain unhinged. Who cares if he can win a golf match against Biden? Since when is winning a golf match a criteria for choosing a president?
The real match up is in the VP race. The Dems must show that Harris is fit to take over the role in case Biden is not able to perform his job in the next four years. So far, the GOP only has people who are willing to give up their dignity for a position in the government.

To be fair, when Obama was running the first time, I didn't like how little experience he appeared to have. So I didn't vote for him first time around. I did for reelection. He impressed me as the candidate many still speak of that we need, someone who is a grassroots type person with everyday human experiences who gets what the common people go through, not a king type nor a forever politician. We have a king type v a forever politician choice, and I find myself wanting an Obama type, competent, smart and on the side of the average American. So, I will stomach the forever politician who worked with Obama, who still supports those same policies and ideals. Maybe we can get back to the sanity levels we had in this country prior the 2016 election and start to heal as a nation.

Yes, I watch the debate and came away disappointed. Had trouble sleeping even. However, It is much easier to tell a slew of lie ( especially when you have been doing it daily) ranting on and on then to push back on the liar. Biden may have not done well in this debate but, more importantly he has done well for the country. He has the knowledge and ability to work with people around the world. Give him a congress that will work with him and he will continue the great job he has been doing.
