    9 years later and you can still see how gentle you’re being with your own glove and then just cutting the shit out of the other gloves what a bullshit video ”Comparison”.

  • @dgould8802
    @dgould8802 9 років тому +13

    product looks good however do fair comparisons 1 min 15 sec into your video the blade is fully extended, then at 1 min 30 sec you do you glove and the blade isn't even half way extended .... if you believe in your product.... Do fair comparisons

    • @Captainspamo
      @Captainspamo 8 років тому

      +D Gould I don't think that affected the outcome, as the blade would have punctured the same depth whether it was extended or not

      +Kipper "Bloodraven" Napkins no it did affect it as the blade was going deeper into the other material

      Agreed, these are very subjective tests. Every time they test a competitor's product it's full force, but as soon as they test their own the tester suddenly becomes a little bitch. It's painfully obvious when you pull punches guys.

    Slow the speed of the youtube-player down, go to 1:55 - and you can see that at evry cut the blade springs back to the knife, he pushes at forward, before the next cut.. it allso dont looks like there is a lot of preasure on it... soo.. could be wothless shit - just saying..

  • @StayReal02
    @StayReal02 6 років тому +2

    Useless "test". You are extra gentle when you test your own product but go full ham mode whenever you test other products. Maybe try to go full powerful mode on your own product and we will see if it can handle reality or not?
    We are not buying your product in order to look at it in a museum. It's for IRL usage!

    i feel like one of a few who knows about this awesome technology. It's like me, a few other people who shop for good gloves, and Bruce Wayne
    I bet Batman has this kind of tech integrated throughout his suit to protect his vital points, such as the jugular vein, the cranial temples, etc.

    5:50 if its so puncture proof. how come what appears to be 4 paperclips punctured it so easlily to hold it in place? XD

    its not cut proof, just cut resistant.

  • @Coecoo
    @Coecoo 11 років тому

    Sure. But then you'd have to set yourself up the basis that these ants would have some kind of timelapse to get into said box.
    Add the deterioration of time and the enviroment however, and that titanium box will not be "Proof" forever.

  • @Fine_i_set_the_handle
    @Fine_i_set_the_handle 11 років тому

    bet you an airtight titanium box is ant proof
    there are things that are proof they are just designed for something small and are incredibly overkill for there intended use

    Anyone notice how far the blade was retracted when they started puncturing the material come on that's shady practice hex armour is good but don't try mislead folks as for all the other tests I'd be very skeptical about how much preassure they are using on the different gloves they could have put them on a pressure pad with digital readout so we know how much force they are cutting with on both gloves instead of taking their word for it that same pressure was used especially after the retracted blade con

    they are showing a glove with a purpose cut away, there is another puncture resistant layer underneath.
    the cut resistance is in accordance with CE resistance rating. HexArmor gloves exceed the minimum gram rating to achieve a CE level 5. the are the highest tested cut resistant gloves on the market.

    The moment you realise, its more to do with geometry than fabric engineering...but then again, great props to the engineer. Found the perfect balance of chip size and chamfers...

    I actually use this glove every day at work. I work in A high production kitchen lots of nice work. This glove is great! I've been using the same one for two years. I bleach it in the washing machine, it's comfortable, I mean it takes a little getting used to but now I feel naked without it when I'm using a knife at work! I like to put a plastic gloves underneath it and over the top of it, that way it doesn't get all sweaty or full of the food i am cutting. I have been using a cut glove for six years and this brand seems to be the best.
