Paccars that have an APU run circles around cummins. They also have a warranty that protects the block for 750k miles. The people that ha e problems with paccar, idle
I got a 2019 T680 with 500k. Got it when it had 350k. Still rolling with no issues to the motor or transmission. Any issues i had was with the DPF system which every truck with that system has. Usually a sensor. Ive only had one breakdown for that issue. Any other breakdown ive had has had NOTHING to do with the motor. Dont let these guys who just talk shit (especially old head super truckers) talk u out of getting a quality truck. Just keep up with the maintenance. Thats all. 👍
I was completely against paccar at first honestly but there not bad they are very fuel efficient and at times I feel like does not have the same power as a Cummins at times but I have not had any problems other then the def system the motor been solid my last Cummins went through fuel filter and de rates left and right but I do love Cummins but with what I know and seen if I had to choose at this point I’d go paccar
I remember in one of your videos you said no one talks to you about tankers. Ive been pulling them for 20 years and make good money. If you have any questions I would be glad to help you. Your videos are great for the young generation coming into trucking keep up the good work
Ngl bro I’d just stick with the Detroit but if you just gotta have a different truck go Cummins that paccar is a horrible motor they good until they break they cost a lot to fix and only certain ppl can fix em mainly dealerships
My 579 has a paccar it's a 2015 700,000 miles on it. it's a love and hate relationship. If I decide to buy a new one, it would have a paccar. The technology is shared between Cummins and paccar. After treatment systems, it all sucks on all the trucks. I'm old school, though. I still have the same truck when I met you in Costco.
Paccar is alright their weak compared to Cummins and caterpillar paccar you have to take to the dealer because no small time mechanic wants to work on them only reason I know is because my company runs paccar in our peterbilts
Honestly paccar is basically Cummings with a lot more sensors lol. (From what I’ve heard) I bought a 2018 579 with a paccar. Got it at 451k miles and now sitting at 484k no issues yet (knock on wood) but seems good to me.
Stick with Cummins, especially if you are purchasing outside of warranty
It got a two year 250k mile extended warranty

Pacxqr gets great mpg but motor is a throw away engine and it limits who and where you can take it for repairs
Damn 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️

Appreciate that info. It comes with a 250k extended warranty on motor and def system
KO… the live was dope.
Thanks boss. I’ll be on next week
What’s wrong with the current truck or are you adding to start a fleet
Nothing. Just want another truck with a longer wheelbase

Ok ok. Good info. Appreciate it
Got 943,000 on a 2014 Paccar still rolling pulling tankers! Got a buddy with a 2017 Cummins getting it overhauled right now with 563,000 on it.
Thanks for that Insight. I really appreciate that

That’s what I’m hearing a lot about the paccar. Appreciate the insight
Do not get the Paccar engine... Cummins is the only option
Why is that

That’s good info. I’m debating on it. It has a extended warranty for 250k more miles on engine and after treatment
