Thanks for posting that. I have a 16” saw with this problem. It’s a different brand but looks like it was made in the same factory. Can only turn the band wheels backwards to adjust blade tracking. Did you work out an electrical solution to disengage the brake or remove it once out of warranty?
It turns out they added the second brake to make the machine compliant with the CE safety standard. I kinda understand but surely they could have put some sort of defeat switch on there to enable blade tracking to be adjusted. Oh well, other than that it's still a great bandsaw 🙂

That’s a really weird design. I can’t imagine how you could change and adjust a blade without being able to move the flywheels by hand. 😡
