Push is such a chill guy for being such a cold-blooded artist lol
🤣🤣
Adonis is your son let that boy come home, deadbeat mf playing lorded patr
The Robb report of the snot
Its the chill ones that really be bout that life lmao
The joker of the industry
He handled the meaning of "Pusha" and "it's almost dry" so freakin smoothly lol. Love how he carries himself.
@Aliyah Roberts shut up scammer
So intelligent knows what to say he didn’t mention the drug reference
Well hold on now, maybe Jimmy knows what's up and Push was actually referring to wet paint, and not freshly cooked crack cocaine.
@@Howard_R double entendre
@@stefan_4508 Mmmm I don't know. Wordplay isn't really Push's style.
He is so polished. He has mastered the media game in my opinion.
20 plus years in the game, his not only polished media wise but everything wise.
You heard how he explained his album title? 😂😂😂😂 That boy good 😂
Especially considering all the land mines he has to navigate

Pusha finally able to shine. He deserves all the respect and success
Very good album. 👏👏👏👏
Yeah, kinda weird TBH. Been hearing his name since 9 year old in elementary and now 22. I guess it take success time to realize.
What do you mean able to shine? He been shining his whole career never misses 😂
@@luiggigarcia9837 RIP drake, he wanted it *laughs*
@@braylonlewis8706 Imagine being 33 & remembering when him & his brother 1st came out at 12, I’ve listened to him for 20 years which is crazy to me… But he’s been successful just not as much as others cause he’s a hip hop purist & not a mainstream rapper
"do things in the street" pusha tryna avoid talking about coke is hilarious
This guy really didnt like my comment
🤣
😅
Amazing that people like Pusha, Kanye & Pharrell can still be finding so much success after 20 years. How many artists from the 60s were still making hits in the 80s??
whilst it is amazing, we also have so much access to so much content now that its a lot easier to stay relevant. granted theres still only a certain amount of airtime on Radio and TV etc but with how the internet is nowadays if you can manage to create a niche for yourself and keep developing, you're likely to ride that wave for a while as long as you play your cards righht, compared to the artists back in the 60s etc not to take away from Push, Kanye and Pharrell because all three are icons of the game
A lot actually. Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Paul McCarthy, Aretha Franklin, Isley Brothers, Patty Labelle, Johnny Taylor, The Rolling Stones and many many more.
@@jjmuse75 bob dylan
Isley Brothers, Temptations, O’jays, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Bee Gees and many many more. And even though hiphop Will allways be my first love , Kanye & Pharrel haven’t even made music that’s half as good as these
@@inigo9000 They’re literally responsible for how music sounds today. The Neptunes early 2000 pop run and Kanye’s way of producing paved the way for everything. Doja Cat, Drake, Travis Scott Etc…
Jimmy: What does “It’s Almost Dry” mean?
Pusha: 😏

What does it mean though? Lol
RIGHT! 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah i know forsure that it doesn't mean that, 😂😂😂 but i don't think that the real meaning will go well with such audience
@Cora Waller fight me
@@kamaljay1 I actually liked how Jimmy made a painting reference.
I mean, it is lowkey a double entendre. Pusha was smart to give the artistic meaning though.

That was a terrible summary of what pusha does. You could say it’s artistic/abstract street rap

Pusha has so much decorum. The way he carries himself... you can tell he is wise, experienced in this media/music shit and plays the game, without letting the game play him. His new album is COLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.
He’s 44. He’s a vet

This interview is brilliant because it explains Pusha T’s artist name and the meaning behind the album title. I love it.
Yes, yes, famous color rapper Pusha T that pushes cok… eh, colors on his palette. Back in the day, people on the street would say: When are your color dry? I need my fix of colors!
Lol imagine not knowing the whole time what pusha means
Lmao
His rapper name is pretty much common sense to anyone that knows hip hop culture lol
This is actually one of the best interviews I’ve seen from Jimmy Fallon in soooo many years
Agreed. They both seem so comfortable
The man that turned drake from a dad to a great father ...we salute! 😁
Dat boy Push danced around those questions just as eloquently as he does on his songs 😂🔥
Hope Jimmy understands how hip-hop and the streets was waiting for this album. And it’s finally Dry.
@Tom Joshua ua-cam.com/video/SPLl7UgvuLE/v-deo.html
“Is there a meaning behind the word Pusha?” Push has to come up with a politically correct answer lol
That was hilarious
Pusha ton of the shit that make ya nose run!
He still said it without saying it directly…

Love King Push. He has had incredible intros to his albums (all down to Ye), King Push and especially If You Know You Know, one of the best ever.
One of the best ever for talking about the same content ? Smoking crack my guy
People talk shit on Jimmy CONSTANTLY, but Jimmy is a musician, and he has nothing but LOVE and RESPECT for all musicians AND artists he has on the show. Sometimes he may not say much, but the love is still there man.
He has the best artists in the industry for a reason.
HE HAS THE FUCKING ROOTS FOR A REASON.
Yall can hate on him for Celeb shit, but when he has any artist on there... enjoy it and listen.
This one was just banter, but the love and admiration was there.

I still feel like the general audience don't give Push the respect he deserves. Push is a very respected artist in the community, you shouldn't be shocked if he has Jay Z features or if Dr. Dre invited him etc

Pusha T is the kind of success story that encourages me as a underground artist with a small following. Mans has quickly become a mainstay in the industry and for good reason. Dude is too nice! I know if I put in the work, I can reach a larger audience some day too, but for now, I’m happy being a supporter. My turn will come too. Salute to Pusha T🔥

I love how every Pusha T interview is the same with his response. Never nothing new, just him being him. Album is 🔥 btw lol
He interviewing Push like he’s a brand new up and coming rapper 🤣
I remember seeing push perform live at Made In America a few years ago. Man puts on a show.
Fallon really crushed this interview. Great questions and vibe.
I didnt know he was so laid back. I see why him and Kanye get along. & the Jay Z access really proved he that guy. He have casual convos w Jay 😂
"i'll just email him" 😂
POV: ur reading the endless comments about push’s demeanour and how he answered the album title question
I find it hilarious how he had to give a politically correct answer to the album title and his rap name explanations. As if they both aren’t coke references 🤣
Wow I was kind of shocked how good Jimmy’s questions and overall vibe as a interviewer was during this! He asked the right questions and didn’t overshadow, much better than his earlier stuff!!
Wonderful human being. And that album slaps! Keep pushin.
Im glad he didnt go into full detail of what his name or the albums name meant Lmaoooo😁❄️❄️👃
this album is gonna win a Grammy for rap album of the year
He seems so chill, love that about him
I was personally waiting for the Joker scene when he was on a talk show with Di Nero. Salute to Push.
That’s fire that you brought that up since that’s basically a huge inspiration on this album he was watching The Joker film on mute while making the album and throughout the album you catch the laughing ad-libs and bars about Joker too good man 🔥🔥
