"Kanan said he was the greatest warrior the Jedi had during the Clone Wars." "He was powerful. Rarely lost a battle. What would have surprised you is how kind he was. He cared deeply about his friends, and looked out for them until the end."
This song literally portrays Anakin’s entire life. It first played the imperial march to represent the hardships that Anakin had to go through as a slave on tatooine. Next is the force theme. This represents the first two Jedi coming into his life, and his transition from slavery to becoming a young jedi knight Then across the stars is played. This represents anakin falling in love with padme. More importantly, it reminds us all of his distaste for sand. Battle of hero’s is played to show his transition to the dark side, and his fight with obi wan. Second to last, the imperial march is played for the last time. This represents the years he spent serving the dark side Lastly, we hear the imperial march again, but with the force theme played over it. This represents Anakin’s turn back to the light side, and the end of the skywalker saga
The Jedi failed Anakin. He was a passionate, emotional person- and the Jedi way told him he shouldn’t feel those emotions. When he came to them seeking genuine help or support they told him to ignore his problems. It’s no wonder he saw Palpatine as a father figure, as he was likely the only person who told him that his emotions were valid. Ultimately, the Jedi were flawed. Anakin was just the product of their failures.
Yea who wouldn't have turned.? Yoda was like get over it when anakin asked help when he knew his wife was dying.... The jedi just used him for their own purpose, cuz he is the chosen one
Arsenios Kakopsitos actually they were just visions and if anaikan hadn’t feared them it would not have came true ya da gave him the best edvice which was not to be sad and be happy that they were there and if he feels hatred that’s a path to the darkside
Master 01 He quite literally said ‘you must learn to let go of that which you love’ which literally means ‘don’t care about the person so much and their death won’t hurt you.’ The Jedi’s way was flawed which is likely why Luke was considered the Master Jedi (i.e he reinvented the jedi code to one that acknowledges the dark side so that it can be defended against).
@@shamusbowron755 Luke was always free so he could save slaves but Anakin never did until he saved all galaxy with killing the emperor after Luke set him free
It's not like Vader (Anakin) never did what he wanted to but it was different from his imagination. He was able to use his technical skills when he worked for Watto, he became a Jedi and he became one of the strongest Jedis/Sith who ever existed but in the end he was limited by Watto, he couldn't bring peace to the galaxy when he was a Jedi and he lost his friends and family (I count some Jedi as family) because he became a Sith and brought some kind of "peace" to the galaxy. Everything he wanted to achieve, in the end disappointed him.
Out of all reasons I expected to revisit this, this one is the reason I wanted the least. RIP James Earl-Jones, your legacy and voice will be remembered for eternity to come.

The Tradegy of Darth Vader. A son who lost his mother. A man who lost his way. A person who lost his humanity. But a father who never lost his son. A tragedy, yes it is. A sad story, it could be. But a happy ending, it deserves. Edit: This was supposed to be a thank you note but ... cry? Okay, cry. Go on. I won't judge you. (Literally can't, I could never see you XD)
Imagine this: Vader stands alone on the bridge of a star destroyer. Staring into the neverending void of space, his head telling his ever aching heart to stop the pain. To stop remembering the love he felt for those he loved. For what he once was. Vader clenching his jaw as his heart overtake his memories. He remembers the time he felt when Ahsoka had perished during the clone wars and he was the only one who could bring her back to life. He remembers the time him and Padmé rolled down the hills in Naboo, falling in love. He remembers his master, Obi-wan, taking him under his wing and becoming his brother. Vader...no... Anakin was back but it was short lived as the evil and hatred inside of him screamed. Ahsoka was dead. Rex was dead. And his master was long gone. He could live with that. He could live with the fact that all his friends and family had died at his hands but he could never forget the pain of losing his love. For losing Padmé. Vader looking back up from the floor, seeing the windows to space had been cracked in his emotional rage inside of him. He left the bridge, barely unable to hold Anakin back from breaking through his mind and breaking down. He was Darth Vader. And he loved no one. He cared for no one. He only cared about making the Jedi and the whole galaxy pay for the trauma he had gone through.
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Vader the Mighty? He was a slave as a boy. One day, a master and his apprentice came to his home in search of a prophetic savior. They believed him to be that savior. They took him to a vast city spanning an entire planet- in its expanses was a temple filled with wisdom and power. The boy wanted to learn it all. As a young man, he returned home to fulfill a promise he made so long before to his everything. His mother. When young Anakin found his mother had died in his arms, Darth Vader's cold, mechanical brutality emerged for the first time. A small camp which was his mother's place of death became a memory, as did its inhabitants. The men, women and children were all slaughtered like animals. Vader and Anakin both hated them all for what they took from both men. Upon burying his mother, Anakin slowly became obsessed with a certain type of power; The power to save others from death. He wanted to become a Jedi master- to gain access to the ancient texts of the mortal enemy of the Jedi Knights. He believed this could show him how to save those he loved from mortality. He took an apprentice by no choice of his own. Ahsoka was Anakin's best friend, next to his former master. Ahsoka fought valiantly next to Anakin during the war but was framed for an attack on the Jedi Temple. Even when the council apologized, Ahsoka opted to leave. Anakin was crushed and Vader grew within his heart. Had he failed her? He did. Had she failed him? Perhaps. She would one day see what her dear friend had become in her absence. In the waning months of the war, Anakin dreamed of his beloved wife perishing in childbirth. It ate him away and let Vader fill the cracks. Soon, Anakin betrayed the Jedi; Vader stormed the temple with his own soldiers to slaughter the traitors. Very few survived the attack, given in the form of the sixty-sixth order in the heads of Vader's troops. He then fought his master. Neither Obi-Wan or Anakin left Mustafar alive. As Anakin died in the lava river, burnt to spiritual ashes, Vader emerged. As Obi-Wan grieved for his brother, he died as well. Ben was all that remained of a once great Jedi master. After 25 years of cruelty, slaughter, fanatical hunting of remaining Jedi and getting revenge on Ben along the way, Vader was destroyed. Anakin's son saw that Vader wasn't all there was left- Vader had defeated Anakin countless times before and yet now he couldn't. His newest and final master felt the retribution of Anakin Skywalker, as did the mighty Lord Vader. Vader perished in the throne room of his late master and Anakin perished in his son's embrace. The prophecy was true. He was a savior. He destroyed the Sith and brought balance to the Force...

Everything Anakin ever did was for love. That was something I could never refute. No matter how dangerous, no matter how many died, or how many kneeled. There was always that undertone of love and loss. Victory and death. I love Darth Vader.
Goodbye James Earl Jones thank you for your wonderful performances throughout the years. You will be indeed be missed and remembered by all. May the force be with Lord Vader. 🙏
After hearing the latest news my heart just sunk, rest in peace David Prowse & James Earl Jones.. you brought the most iconic villain in cinematic history to life, you’ll never be forgotten 🫡💔
Have you ever heard the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker, the chosen one? I thought not it's not a story the sith would tell. Anakin Skywalker was a poor slave boy from the planet Tatooine until one day a group of off worlders came into the shop he worked in. They revealed themselves to be Jedi, weilders of the force, and sensed great power within the boy. They helped him win the local podrace and his freedom. Leaving his mother behind he was taken to learn the ways of the Force, destined to bring balance back, to be the "chosen one". He quickly became one of the best the Jedi had to offer, the best star pilot in the galaxy, a cunning warrior, and a good friend. He fell in love and married a beautiful woman who meant everything to him, defying the Jedi order. Plagued by visions of her death he sought to save her, but in the process destroyed everything he worked for. He betrayed the order he once stood for, he slaughtered innocents, and turned into a monster of the dark side all in the hopes of saving his beloved. He failed. Anakin Skywalker was killed on the planet Mustafar by his former master and brother Obi-Wan Kenobi, and from the ashes rose the sith lord Darth Vader. Vader helped rule the galaxy with an iron fist serving his new master, pained by the loss of his love. Suffering from every moment since that fateful day the sith lord learned of a boy named Luke Skywalker, son of Anakin. He confronted the boy, and soon after brought the boy to his master. The young boy refused to fall to the dark side, choosing to remain a servant to the light, a Jedi like his father before him. When his master tried to take the boys life, Vader was slain and the father of the boy was freed from his dark vessel. Anakin Skywalker sacrificed his life to save his son, destroy the sith as he was destined to do, and bring balance to the force. A sad story to be sure but one of hope. One of the tragedies love can bring. A slave on Tatooine A slave to the Jedi A slave to the dark side Freed by his son Anakin Skywalker A son A brother A father The chosen one
RIP James Earl Jones. He’s become one with the Force, alongside David Prowse…and let’s not forget Sebastian Shaw, who was the first face of Anakin Skywalker.
@@gregorylumban-gaol3889 No, he created a version of the song based on what he heard. The trailer music was composed by Blake Robinson as a re-imagining of John Williams's theme score.
"Il n'y a pas d'amour qui ne soit à la douleur, Il n'y pas d'amour dont on ne soit meurtri, Il n'y pas d'amour dont on ne soit flétri." Aragon Merci pour ce magnifique arrangement.
This is a mashup of beautiful proportions. This is on tier with Riftley's stunning work. This song is so powerful and conveys so many emotions. Great job.
“It’s not my fault.” “Your focus determines your reality.” “Do. Or do not. There is no try.” “Somebody has to save our skins.” “In my experience there is no such thing as luck.” “I find your lack of faith disturbing.” “I’ve got a bad feeling about this.” “It’s a trap!” “So this is how liberty dies…with thunderous applause.” “Your eyes can deceive you. Don’t trust them.” “Never tell me the odds.” “Mind tricks don’t work on me.” “Great, kid. Don’t get cocky.” “Stay on target.” “This is a new day, a new beginning.” Star Wars has given some of the best lines in the Universe as we know it. We just don't appreciate them..
I also love a quote from Qui-Gon Jinn. Qui-Gon: Keep your concentration here and now where it belongs. Obi-Wan: Master Yoda says I should be mindful of the future- Qui-Gon: -but not at the expense of the moment.

People are writing inspiring comments either about the intricacy of this piece or sad things about Anakin but i just wanted to mention how beautiful it is even without all the thought that you must have put into this piece it transitions flawlessly and is outstandingly beautiful in every way. Honestly brought a tear to my eye and I'm not joking when I say that.
Ever since my wife left me one month ago for a richer guy, this song is playing in my mind, all the time. I loved her more than anything in the world, more than myself. And this is how she left me. Now I feel like burning everything to the ground. To embrace the darkness
I find artists to be pretentious, their work more often than not lacking, especially with newer works. But this, sir you have created a masterpiece. I have listened at least 2 dozen times across the span of 3 weeks and never fail to get chills at the crescendo. You have out done yourself. Take a bow sir.
This is a beautiful arrangement! It perfectly captures Anakin's emotions and includes all the great Star Wars Motifs! This song in itself tells a beautiful story of Anakin in his grief-fueled anger
When I hear this I imagine Vader looking out the window of his star destroyer. Just having visited Padme’s grave he holds the necklace he made in her hand as he remembers the days of the Jedi republic. Him battling side by side with Ashoka and Rex, his conversations with the council, his love for Padme and his battle with Obi-Wan. He gets more and more mad. His commanding officer walks up to him to ask where he wishes to go. Vader begins to clench his fist. The air leaves the officer’s lungs, the devices in room begin to crumble and nearby Star destroyers break and explode as his rage grows. When everyone in the giant ships have died Vader realizes what he must do. He runs and gets into his fighter and makes a path directly to Corrisant. He lands on the emperor’s tower and gets out, the rain pelting his helmet. He walks straight to the emperor’s office. The royal guards are immediately picked up and thrown out the window. The rage filled cyborg picks up Tarkin and any other officers and proceeds to drop them out the now busted window, leaving only the master and the apprentice, the sith and the jedi, the emperor and the chosen one. Palpatine stands from his chair and Vader grabs ahold of his light saber. Just as the music picks up lighting shoots from the sith lord’s hands and Vader ignites his light saber, holding off the deadly bolts as images of master windu appears in palpatine’s mind. Vader begins advancing forward as the hate begins to leave his body. His yellow eyes begin to fade into blue and his crimson red light saber flashes white. He hits the fearful emperor with a force push, stunning him before the lightning continues. Anakin then raises his hands, powering through the pain the lightning is bringing him. He slices down… and the prophecy is fulfilled. Once it’s done he leaves to find his old master, his old friend, and his brother, hoping he will be forgiven and loved once again…
David Prowse was a Good man. He brought happiness to us by portraying the role of Darth Vader in the Original Trilogy and was loved by many fans. Rest In Peace David Prowse, May the Force be with You. 😭
Something I true love about this song is that you can feel all of his emotions. You can feel his suffering in the beginning if you get your feelings into the song. Then I feel his fear as if he's telling his story. Next is his anger and burning rage I feel then back to suffering in the end. He's such a tragic character and actually has a similar backstory to myself. It's kinda crazy to think about having a similar personality and backstory as my two/favorite character(s) Anakin and Darth Vader.
Not at all. Anakin reminds me of myself as well. I relate so strong to Anakin’s passion, love and strong emotions. And how he would do anything to save his loved ones.
I find myself coming back to listen to this on this particular day. With the loss of Dave Prowse, the original Star Wars family is that much smaller. Rest in peace, Lord Vader.
Anakin Skywalker, a man so fiercely loyal to his friends and family, has been enslaved his whole life, a servant and a pawn to both the Jedi and then the Sith. He turned to the dark side to save his wife, as a Sith, but returned to the light to save his son, as a Jedi. Every deed he did, was for love, to keep the ones he cared about from dying. But in doing so, it brought him only ruin and death.
Imma a die hard star wars fan. And this dude just made me cry like a baby. One of the reasons why I love vader so much is because you can relate to him in many ways. Dope edit. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
love this piece, in the beginning you can hear the sadness of his childhood and his sadness of becoming the man he was and his transfer into being a sith and towards the end you can hear the evil and might but still hear the sadness that he carried with him throughout his life

Master 01
He quite literally said ‘you must learn to let go of that which you love’ which literally means ‘don’t care about the person so much and their death won’t hurt you.’ The Jedi’s way was flawed which is likely why Luke was considered the Master Jedi (i.e he reinvented the jedi code to one that acknowledges the dark side so that it can be defended against).
@@Lol81732 yea but his mother's death were also visions and it happened

His son saved the slaves his father never did
@@shamusbowron755 Luke was always free so he could save slaves but Anakin never did until he saved all galaxy with killing the emperor after Luke set him free
That's deep.

A character we all looked up to. Despite he murdered the kids.
Imagine this:
Vader stands alone on the bridge of a star destroyer.

Enter the psyche of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. You nailed it, my friend.
Aaand he's back baby
And Luke come to change his life
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Vader the Mighty?
Upon burying his mother, Anakin slowly became obsessed with a certain type of power;
The power to save others from death.

"Love won't save you Padme, only my new powers will do that!"
Yet, he was saved by his sons love, and his own love....
