You do realize he's a elite pick n roll player... He knows how to run the offense. ..He hasn't played with a jamal crawford or a ginobli. ... He has to be the ultimate guard for his team... and no body penetrates to the rim as hard as rose does...

Not even that, just the constant stop and start. And not having a stretch of playing more than 30 games in 4 years killed. Any chance he had at becoming old drose. 14-15 he was looking like 85% of MVP drose before the all star break. And then the same meniscus tear in Feb 2015 was the final straw. Crazy how well he still played in the playoffs that year with only 35 games in 3 years 😢
Not really i feel like he it was the constant injuries and rehab year after year that really messed him up. I’m a firm believer that his acl and meniscus tear wasn’t what really stopped him.
@@Mr.PR2000 idk man he looked like two different players before that 2nd meniscus tear. In 2015, before the all star break and after. He was putting up mvp numbers that month jan-feb 2015.
@@Bairom06 He probably wasn’t gonna be an MVP again but i believe he would have been a solid perennial all star for the rest of his career with averages like 23 and 8 every year. That’s hypothetically if he just had the acl and the meniscus tear and just stopped getting injured after that.

Man, Derrick really didn't even get a chance to show his improvement in his game, which there definitely was (even if it was taking a bit longer for his explosiveness to really show through). I hope that the FIBA World Cup will really help him and give him the chance, he never really got, to, I guess, get used to playing. Hopefully, he can get back to/develop a rhythm that he can get used to, before he really starts playing next season. Good luck D-Rose, get well soon!!

People should understand. Derrick Rose should comeback and play exactly how used to before these two major knee injuries. If he changes his style of play this shows that he mentally is weak...his injuries were non-contact and were just freak plays. When healthy is a top 2 player in the NBA, I hope he comes back better than ever and proves his doubters and haters wrong.
