Got to say I did love the long shot walking bits they always did, wonder how they did the sound on their mics? under their helmets? Also in this one, Bob talking to the market men all in character I guess they were actors but all seemed ad hoc.
Bad continuity. Those scenes would have already been filmed so they don't match. Tv & film is rarely filmed in sequence anyway. Broadbeach was filmed in order as they didntwant the actors to know who the murderer was, to genuinely capture the acrors suprise.

That little boy playing with the typewriter annoying Taffy would be around 50 years old now.
Did anyone else notice in the previous episode he sold his cortina for a cavalier now hes got the cortina back
O ya

Well one misses the trip to Italy
Could just be they decided to change the order of the episodes at some point, for whatever reason.
@newsbender no, tv doesnt work that way. I've worked in it since 1986. 🙄
Alfie was punching above his weight a bit with his Mrs!
Kate Williams best remembered as Mrs Eddie Booth
Superb!
That little boy played Darren in the Only Fools and Horses episode Diamonds are For Heather.
That's a lot of detail to glean from dry pavement.
Was this episode the first appearance of Sgt. Peters?
Nope, he was in the first episode (not the pilot).
Poor old Alfie
*SPOILER* Alfie's agonal breathing after he hits his head is scarily realistic. Better check if that actor died for real.
You did well, my son
I WISH I WAS ON THE BILL 🧾
