I like their other album, though not as much. I think this one is the tune that makes the difference. It also reminds me of Alice Coltrane's "Journey In Satchidananda" with Pharoah Sanders on soprano and tenor. All excellent stuff. I really do have a soft spot for The Awakening. Top- flight musicians who mesh very well into a seamless, fluid groove.
