Synhelion - Inauguration of plant DAWN

On June 20, 2024, Synhelion inaugurated DAWN, the world’s first industrial-scale plant to produce synthetic fuels using solar heat in Jülich, Germany. By inaugurating DAWN, Synhelion proves that the technology to produce solar fuels is ready for large scaling. Following DAWN’s inauguration, the commissioning of the plant continues, and solar fuel production will start soon. Fuels from DAWN will be used in showcases throughout the transportation sector to demonstrate the importance of sustainable fuels in the energy transition.
Attended by Synhelion’s partners, customers, the media, and renowned guests from industry, politics, and science, the inauguration was a resounding success! In addition to several insightful keynotes, a presentation of DAWN, and a panel discussion on the future of sustainable mobility, Synhelion offered the unique opportunity to tour plant DAWN to get a first-hand impression and learn more about the technology.
