Thank you Dr Lydia. This presentation on sampling is the first l am watching in the series and l find it very clear. It makes the sampling part of research appear a lot easier to approach and tackle effectively. Hope to to watch the presentations on the other topics. Best wishes,

Thank you Dr. Lydia. I would like to know among the three last scientific sampling strategies is there any superior than the other from your experience.
Hello Peninah. None is superior than the other. The choice of a technique is determined by the research approach you have adopted and the philosophical assumptions
Greetings Doc, you said, the sample size should come from sampling frame, which come as well from accessible population. This one is a subset of target population. We have noticed that the online calculator or mathematics formulae have no provision for accessible population either the sampling frame. Therefore, what is your comment on this?
Population is determined by the researcher. It's your research problem that dictates the population. The calculator calculates for you the sample from the population you input

Hi Dr Wambugu, Thank you for this presentation. I have a question on the population (N). In the case that I'm conducting an online survey where i don't know the population size but i need to come up with a sample....how best can i come with the N. Thank you for your help.
Thank you for kind comment and the question. Kindly access all the lessons on www.researchmethodsclass.com/research-methods-course/ You assume an infinite population of over 100,000 and the sample size is 384

Hello, nice learning videos.
Thought you could add some revision question at the end of each video so ass to test if one has learned..

Good evening Dr., how do you defend a sample size when asked to do so...
Dr., how about when using the Krejcie Morgan table, does the confidence level also affect the sample size, say of 80.
Based on the theory of sampling
How do I determine the sample size for anc mothers accessing health education in level 5 hospital
