They probably don't want people shooting all the bears. Hunting is one thing. Going out for a hike, seeing a bear and shooting it "just in case" is another. People are dumb enough to do that, especially the scads of tourists in the summer.
In Europe, we have brown bears, which are pretty much the same as grizzlies, and we are not even recommended to carry a bear spray for self defense, to be accurate you can`t even buy one, they are simply not sold..It is really surreal.
I'm hoping they reintroduce the saber tooth tiger or maybe a few T-Rex into the national forests. Lets just fill the forests with apex predators. What could possibly go wrong?
We've almost completed the Westside Trail on Lake Windermere, and want to run it up mountain to the Panorama ski hill. The "running of the grizzly" would be a great tourist event: if you live, you win!!
Reintroducing Grizzly bears everywhere is not just ruining hunting but now also threatening outdoor activities for families and depriving them from appreciating the outdoors
@@boysinthewoods4189 Wrong. The idea is to preserve a small portion of the ecosystem. Look at a map of Grizzly presence compared to historical habitat. It's ok to save a tiny portion of historical habitat. Don't be afraid . Just be aware and prepared.
