If you are interested in Germany and its different parts and regions, I can recommend the videos of the German channel DW and its series called "Meet the Germans Roudtrip". There are four short episodes about north, south, east and west. It's hosted by Rachel, that I just saw you already have seen in some other video. :)

There are so many places to visit in Germany
and the different regions are very different
the landscape is different, the building materials are different
In the Green Vault [Grüner Gewölbe) in Dresden are the treasures
    of the Kings of Saxony
and one of his treasurers is
a miniture version of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb's court
(the emperor who killed the ninth guru and fought the tenth guru)
because his court at the time was seen as the most splendid in the world.

11:41 literally no one in Germany knows “Brodten” whatever that is. It’s almost like it doesn’t exist. There are plenty of other spots he could have mentioned, like Rügen, Hiddensee and Usedom

Naja, würde ich jetzt so nicht sagen. Das Brodtener Ufer ist schon einigen Leuten bekannt^^
Well, i would not confirm that. The "Brodtener Ufer" is pretty well known to many people^^
Klar, wenn Urlaub aus Fliegen und Ballern am Strand besteht, sieht man das nicht. Aber genau das ist es, wenn Leute sagen, dass sich ein Urlaub in Deutschland auch lohnt.
Ohne Mist, du hast davon noch nie was gehört. Aber ich bin ganz sicher, dass du es ziemlich cool finden würdest^^

Rivers and lakes are sacred in most of Europe and are among the cleanest in the world. The standard of water quality is regulated by the EU.

Please don't "learn" the pronounciation from the narrator. He is WAY off! 🤭

Yeah. Most likely they would be less wrong, if they would use their own native language as reference 😂

To sum it up, Germany is an overall beautiful country. Extending from the sea to the Alps, we have all kinds of climate. We love nature (a third of Germany is covered in forests), we love history and, contrary to popular belief, we have a wicked sense of humour. You would love it here!
Actually Germans don't really like skyscrapers. We find them ugly and useless. That is why you basically only find sklyscrapers in "Frankfurt am Main". Some other major cities may have one or the other skyscraper but they are not really popular. It's a history/tradition thing as well I guess.
Fun fact: Germany has more castles than the US has McDonalds.

8:59 In the Lake Constance are Three Islands: Lindau, Mainau - the "flower island" belongs to the Family Bernadotte it is a Garden you can visit - and Reichenau a former monastry island and now famos for vegetables growing there.
In the castle of Meersburg has a German writer, Annete von Droste-Hülshoff, had lived her last years and died there.

Hello from Bergkamen near Dortmund (Germany) and sadly the pronounciation from the narrator is not korrect. As a child ( over 40 years ago ) I visited Schloss Neuschwarnstein and it´s really beautifull there. The inside is also stunning.
If you want to see a really great Building you schould look up Schloss Sanssouci in Potsdam . The inside, the outside and the Park are very beautifull. I visited it as a child and as an adult. Sorry for any write mistakes that I may have made.I´m 53 years old and mostly self learnt english.

A question came up which I try to answer in an ironic way. You asked why the Black Forest is named this way. The Black Forest is named so `cause you`re turning black while hiking there!
    And nice greetings from Dresden.

It‘s green from above. But if you are in it it’s so dense, it looks black in every direction. At least that’s what Mark Twain claimed.
