We salt mackerel at home. Simple recipe. The most delicious recipe I have tried, all friends and relatives have switched to this recipe.
Brine for 1 liter of water (for 2 pieces of mackerel):
4 tbsp salt
2 tbsp Sahara
2 bay leaves
3 black peppercorns
2 allspice peas
2 tbsp 9% vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil (can be sunflower)
