This Dionysus performance is one of the most demanding and difficult of all time! How?! Most people would have collapsed halfway through? Or sounded a mess, even without the background supporting audio. It’s incredible.

We stan 7 kings. 👑 My favorite during this performance, especially during the earlier part, is when you catch them breaking character and smiling, because they're having so much fun. Hobi is the one you'll catch the most. It's a thrill when you catch each of them, especially Yoongi.

I've watched this an incredible amount of times, more than a few times with other reactors. I can never get over this performance. I must say that the changes in your expressions are one of my favorite reactions. I can see how much fondness you have for them, excitedly repeating Tae and Jin's rockin performances. The way you just fell silently in awe of beautiful Jimin and the I Need U instrumental. The way you commented in detail on Suga and JK's performances and recounted their performances in order. All of them did it live lol there’s fancams of them all and they’re in different outfits bc they didn’t have time to as many changes as necessary for all the stuff we are seeing here… even jimins has parts of the recorded bit in with his live….. so it’s not different from the rest of them even though you constantly want to make it seem that way. Jimins solo dance was my far favorite of the night.. truly got to show some of my favorite style of dance that jimin does… even though he can do others… it’s the more contemporary mixed with his martial arts that always blow me away the most…. But that doesn’t mean it’s okay to misrepresent the situation or try to put him on some pedestal even though it’s very easy to find the actual clips of the boys doing them live as well but in their Dionysus outfits bc it happened quicker than we are shown. If you don’t want to believe that jimins also has part of the prerecorded bit in his solo part all you have to do is look at his hair from when he throws the fabric into the air in one shot is just down not moved much but in the next one it’s all pushed back and standing up in the front showing his whole forehead and then he’s standing as the fire parts come out and it’s back down perfectly again. The clips from the prerecording for his were purely edited for the effect…. Bc his just like the others was wanted to give to us in the highest quality possible… not bc they can’t do something and others can… he was the only one whose stage was just him and fabric… everyone else’s had multiple dancers or jungkook dancing in a water pool which obviously couldn’t be done here in the same time. Search the solo stage fancams right there for you to see… it’s similar to how everyone else did their solos live for mots but jimin was the only one who had to prerecord his bc of the outfit change couldn’t get done right in the short amount of time he had… would you say jimins filter performance meant any less bc it was the only one prerecorded? So glad you were finally able to watch this!!!! This performance was one of the earlier things I actually saw of bts and I was a hardcore army ever since. I get as excited watching this every single time as I did the first time I saw it lol it’s just crazy and this is an actual award show lol like are you shitting me? An AWARD show?!?!?!? I still think even though every award show performance they do is insane… and the mma 2020 which I linked in a separate comment with the 2018 one and then a couple MAMA performances as well for future reference… but that performance is really amazing too but yoongi isn’t there bc of his surgery and it’s during covid so there’s no fans there for them…. So not having all 7 makes it an instant loss for me bc it’s so sad without him… but I think it’s so cute how they leave a space for him during it… and these intro dance performances for Dionysus are just on another level not just bts but the stage mama Yemeni, camera operators , back up dancers I mean there’s so many moving pieces to so many performances and it’s better than any show I’ve ever seen… including halftime shows … hands down I’ve never seen anything like it . As soon as the camera cuts away from them in a fancam their bodies instantly drop and they can barely breathe which is sad to see… but blows me away bc if I hadn’t seen that fancam I would still be shocked at how they don’t even seem tired. It’s crazy that they work so hard and you can’t ever tell how exhausted they are unless it’s backstage or right at the end of a huge stage like this… but they give everything they have and more every single time …. Im so proud to be an army and not just for these performances which swear that these are the greatest performers of this generation through and through… but knowing the young men that they are off stage and that they’re silly, goofy, humble and loving people is crazy… they’re such a rare group of ppl IMO… and I’m thankful that they’re the role models right now ppl look up to…. That gives me hope for the future. But yeh so glad you saw this and now know why we push so hard for this!! Dionysus is a unique song and I think hobi is the main writer on it and i think Dionysus is the god of wine or something but the song is great and lyrics are clever… and then the members solo intro stages are different Greek gods. The definitive performance 💜 parts of this recorded (Microcosmos, Jungkook solo in water). The fact that Dionysus took half their performance time, they wanted to portray each god properly, and then the actual Dionysus performance was STUNNING. BTS making every award show their concert! This is mind blowing, I was smiling when I knew Mikrokosmos was coming up, knew it was your favourite. The individual dances they did to remixes of their other songs were amazing too. They began their 2019 World Tour concerts with Dionysus complete with giant panthers, epic!
They work so hard, so much dedication. To me the high light was jimin performance that elevate the whole stage to a work of art, no one can replicate that performance, if you pause in any frame during his solo you gonna see perfect lines, poetry on movement, the most beautiful pictures of the entire bts performance come from jimin " I need you" dance.

This one is truly epic! I do believe that some of the parts were pre-recorded - the Mikrokosmos performance, and I think their individual parts. I could be wrong, but I remember seeing that in a behind the scenes. Otherwise, they would have truly dropped from exhaustion!

Love the new format proportion wise! On a mobile it was a little hard to see your expressions sometimes so really glad you have changed them a little bit :). Also seen as you were driving yourself a little crazy there trying to figure out the voices for the remixed Danger over Jin's Horse entrance ha, it was Jimin's like last line of the chorus for Danger being replayed in the remix but it had been altered slightly so it might have been hard to distinguish. It can definitely be hard to tell sometimes depending on what kind of processing or layering has been done in studio tbh. Why I'll always love the live performances as their voices and rap lines rap performances are just so awesome live and I have always felt that for BTS studio takes a little bit away from it sometimes cause they're such fantastic live performers. From their earliest songs to their newest I still haven't found a track where I've preferred the album version of stuff they've gotten chance to do live. No doubt I love the ad libs and layering or harmonies that are sometimes only on the album versions but I always end up seeking out the live performance versions. Still some I haven't seen as live ones just because they have so many songs and not every single song from every album has had chance to be performed of course or if they have I just can't find them or missed them haha. But just goes to show what amazing quality their voices have that no matter the range or style be it rap or singing I always end up loving the live version even more ha. Anyway, been watching your channel for a while now and really love your enthusiasm and the joy that you seem to feel whenever you listen to or watch BTS music or content. I still think even though every award show performance they do is insane… and the mma 2020 which I linked in a separate comment with the 2018 one and then a couple MAMA performances as well for future reference… but that performance is really amazing too but yoongi isn’t there bc of his surgery and it’s during covid so there’s no fans there for them…. So not having all 7 makes it an instant loss for me bc it’s so sad without him… but I think it’s so cute how they leave a space for him during it… and these intro dance performances for Dionysus are just on another level not just bts but the stage mama Yemeni, camera operators , back up dancers I mean there’s so many moving pieces to so many performances and it’s better than any show I’ve ever seen… including halftime shows … hands down I’ve never seen anything like it . As soon as the camera cuts away from them in a fancam their bodies instantly drop and they can barely breathe which is sad to see… but blows me away bc if I hadn’t seen that fancam I would still be shocked at how they don’t even seem tired. It’s crazy that they work so hard and you can’t ever tell how exhausted they are unless it’s backstage or right at the end of a huge stage like this… but they give everything they have and more every single time …. Im so proud to be an army and not just for these performances which swear that these are the greatest performers of this generation through and through… but knowing the young men that they are off stage and that they’re silly, goofy, humble and loving people is crazy… they’re such a rare group of ppl IMO… and I’m thankful that they’re the role models right now ppl look up to…. That gives me hope for the future. But yeh so glad you saw this and now know why we push so hard for this!!
Dionysus is a unique song and I think hobi is the main writer on it and i think Dionysus is the god of wine or something but the song is great and lyrics are clever… and then the members solo intro stages are different Greek gods. Should check out their lyrics and comeback performance if you want… it’s really cool.

The definitive performance 💜 parts of this recorded (Microcosmos, Jungkook solo in water). The fact that Dionysus took half their performance time, they wanted to portray each god properly, and then the actual Dionysus performance was STUNNING. BTS making every award show their concert! This is mind blowing, I was smiling when I knew Mikrokosmos was coming up, knew it was your favourite. The individual dances they did to remixes of their other songs were amazing too. They began their 2019 World Tour concerts with Dionysus complete with giant panthers, epic!

To me the high light was jimin performance that elevate the whole stage to a work of art, no one can replicate that performance, if you pause in any frame during his solo you gonna see perfect lines, poetry on movement, the most beautiful pictures of the entire bts performance come from jimin " I need you" dance.

This one is truly epic! I do believe that some of the parts were pre-recorded - the Mikrokosmos performance, and I think their individual parts. I could be wrong, but I remember seeing that in a behind the scenes. Otherwise, they would have truly dropped from exhaustion!

Love the new format proportion wise! On a mobile it was a little hard to see your expressions sometimes so really glad you have changed them a little bit :).
Also seen as you were driving yourself a little crazy there trying to figure out the voices for the remixed Danger over Jin's Horse entrance ha, it was Jimin's like last line of the chorus for Danger being replayed in the remix but it had been altered slightly so it might have been hard to distinguish.
It can definitely be hard to tell sometimes depending on what kind of processing or layering has been done in studio tbh.
Why I'll always love the live performances as their voices and rap lines rap performances are just so awesome live and I have always felt that for BTS studio takes a little bit away from it sometimes cause they're such fantastic live performers.
From their earliest songs to their newest I still haven't found a track where I've preferred the album version of stuff they've gotten chance to do live.
No doubt I love the ad libs and layering or harmonies that are sometimes only on the album versions but I always end up seeking out the live performance versions.
Still some I haven't seen as live ones just because they have so many songs and not every single song from every album has had chance to be performed of course or if they have I just can't find them or missed them haha. But just goes to show what amazing quality their voices have that no matter the range or style be it rap or singing I always end up loving the live version even more ha.
Anyway, been watching your channel for a while now and really love your enthusiasm and the joy that you seem to feel whenever you listen to or watch BTS music or content.
