I've struggled with anxiety also have had panic attacks. I don't have someone to talk to, so saying this on here, makes me feel better. Stay safe and well.
I suffer from anxiety. It started about 5 years after I got hurt and couldn't work as a nurse anymore. I found myself constantly grinding my teeth and no matter how many times I told myself to stop, I couldn't. So I went to a Dr and he gave me celexa. It doesn't help completely but, I started baking and it was so therapeutic. I got so into it, I began watching tutorials on a nightly basis and before I knew it I was creating beautiful cakes. With only so many people to bake for, I started watching craft tutorials which, brought me to you. Thanks for sharing something so personal and all your beautiful DIY's. Safe safe, Stay healthy!
Hi! I too, suffer from panic attacks and anxiety but the older I get, the more I control them. Like you, I have a Graphic Design background so creativity is my savior. I started macramé again and I'm quite good at it. Sewing is great as well. Stained glass window kits are another option. All these wonderful calming crafts are a form of meditation and you don't think about anything else and your breathing slows down. Crafts and baking are magic and the best remedies ever! I enjoy your videos! Hugs from Montreal!
I do not suffer from anxiety but, I’ve had a couple of panic attacks in my life. Something I’ve learned with time is... let go and let God. To completely trust in Him. Thank you for sharing! I had my first anxiety attack when I was around 10. Didn't know what it was and was afraid to tell anyone because I couldn't really describe it...the sense of impending doom, can't breathe, wanted to jump out of my skin...horrible, horrible. It usually came when I was riding in a car. It took many, many years for me to know what was going on. I still have them, but very infrequent (I'm well into my 60s) and it's usually when I'm worried about someone I love. My "soother" is prayer and meditating on the Word. God always hears me and brings me peace. There are many ways to relieve anxiety/panic attacks, but that's what works for me! You are a dear and I love how open you are. Love your channel and I wish you the best and I pray for your healing. 💖
I just recently found your channel and your voice is so calming. I also suffer from anxiety as well as depression. I am not doing well. I am a substitute teacher who works full time so I have lost my kids and teachers at school. My husband is still working but long hours and trying to have minimal contact. My kids are adults and I miss them as well as my mother. Thank you for the suggestions. I am going to try the paper crafts. I have some old books that I have wanted to do something with. Thank you!!
I am always proud of anyone who can talk about anxiety and other mental health concerns. I remember exactly where I was and what it felt like when I first started having panic symptoms. My husband took me to the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack. (these symptoms can be so scary, especially for me because my father died very young from a massive heart attack). Of course my heart was fine, and I had to face the face that it was anxiety. I went to a day program at an out patient mental health facility and it totally changed my life. We focused on mindfulness, deep breathing, and other coping skills. I always prided myself on being a "multitasker", type A personality who was incredibly productive. So I had to work very hard to slow my brain down and learn these important skills. I sincerely believe that crafting can be a way to cope and deal with anxiety. I liked to a paint cute figurines, so that year I painted many sets of a whimsical nativity figures. I gave these as Christmas gifts! Now I sew, color, decoupage, garden.... anything that requires creativity and focus. I can now say that after lots of "practice", I don't suffer from anxiety like I used to!
Doing yoga is the best thing for anxiety. I do all the crafts that you have suggested and none of them give me the relief yoga does. Also walking in nature is very relaxing. ( Just have to keep your distance now.)

Hello!! I love to craft. I have had anxiety for years. With me it is most often triggered by overwhelm. Like if I need to cook dinner but I have to wash dishes first and the cat just threw up and my dad needs help with something on the computer. I just start feeling like everything needs to be done yesterday. But not only be done, but be done my way. I'm working on this. I make sure I start my work in the morning so I can get it all done before evening. Then in the evening as I relax I craft and watch tv. Either crochet or paper crafts, but I'd like to learn to knit also. Thanks for this video. Happy Crafting and God Bless
YES! YES! YES! Thank you!!! I’ve been struggling with depression & anxiety since my early twenties but more so this year. Crafting helps keep your mind busy and occupied and it helps so much! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ve always crafted to help with my pain and anxiety. Now my pain is overtaking in my arms and joints, honestly it’s killing me. It’s like my body is trying to kill me, I can’t enjoy anything anymore. Really so pleased for you that all these crafts help you, there is nothing worse in this world than anxiety and panic attacks xxx
I do suffer from anxiety, but I'm lucky to never have had a panic attack. That's awful and I feel for you and anyone who does. For me, anything creative calms my anxiety. I love to paint, color, and draw. I love to do crafts. I also love painting my nails and doing nail art. I also find that cleaning and organizing really calms me. It's good to hear other people's experiences and know I'm not alone! I'm really struggling right now. I have a couple health problems that put me at risk and I'm petrified. I appreciate you sharing your experience. We're all in this together!
I’ve been dealing with anxiety most of my life but it wasn’t until my son was about 15 months old when I had my first panic attack. They are the most frightening experiences I’ve ever had. I was the happiest I’d ever been and then out of the blue I started with these attacks. I had been through a lot in my life.....ie. numerous surgeries, illness and deaths in family, infertility, etc. I had read that it was the combination of all the stress I had been through that had brought these panic attacks on. My father had died from heart disease so my first thought was that I was having a heart attack. My son being so young and dependent on me made it even scarier. I started to have anxiety about having panic attacks and there was a snowball effect. Of course what is happening in the world right now is not helping but I’m trying to preoccupy myself with other things and it certainly does help. I had thought about making scrapbooks as I have made many in the past and am far behind. Now would definitely be a great time and it also helps looking through old photos of vacations, etc. Thank you for this video of other things I can be doing.😊❤️🙏
I adore you! Crafting has saved my sanity more than once. I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder and have for years. Ironically, I’m not panicking about our current situation - I’ve lived YEARS imagining worst case scenarios and now that we’re in one I’m not worried about it. I’ve already played this out in my head dozens of times. Knitting is wonderful (especially as I also have OCD, so the counting appeals to me 😝). I started right after my oldest was born, to help with the transition into motherhood. The power of creating something is amazing. Soothing and good for the soul. Peace and wellness to you! Thank you for your little corner of the Internet! ❤️
A-type, high anxiety, adhd. I do all of the crafts mentioned except journaling and knitting. For paper craft, try quilling. It's easy and can be done with a bamboo skewer, dowel... etc. No quilling tool needed, although it makes it a bit easier. Buying the paper strips is MUCH more convenient, but cutting your own colored printer paper, construction and oragami paper all work to an extent- cardstock is far too stiff. If you only have white, try it anyway -make daisies or a calla lily and use something else for the center, or a cloud, a dove... you get it. Peace and health be with you all.
Thank you so much for this. Hon I am so sorry that you have had to suffer through panic attacks. I started having them when I was sixteen. I find all of these crafts comforting I do all of them except the painting. These wonderful crafts are going to help see us all through these horrible times. Stay safe prayers and blessings to you and your family.
Thank you for sharing that about yourself. I've struggled with anxiety for as long as I can remember. I was diagnosed with a panic disorder when I was 15. I'm 51 now and still fighting it. I've always been terribly ashamed of my condition and hide it when I can. So again, thank you for sharing ❤
I struggle with anxiety attacks it’s a vicious cycle for me. I’m 60 and it started when I was 16. Everyday can be a struggle. I sew a lot. It really helps me to completely relax and concentrate on something. Sewing is very soothing for me. It’s my therapy. Thank you for sharing. 💕💕
I also deal with anxiety, and depression, as well. Medication and a loving family help, but, at times, my only consolation is my crafts. If anyone who has some paints around the house, feels they have no talent with a brush, try paint pouring. It is so calming and rewarding. There are many tutorials on UA-cam - look for a "pouring for beginners" video. Most call it acrylic pouring, but I have used all types of paints that work, just not oils. Simple, stress free, calming - and the results are beautiful.
I hope you keep in touch with your support system during this mess. I wish you well. I don't have anxiety but actually watch your videos when I feel sad or scared, because the beautiful colors, inspirational ideas and your calm explaination does wonders with perking me back up.
I am bipolar and suffer with anxiety. I'm on medicine for both. I find that crafts calm me down also decorating helps. Just something to keep my hands busy.
Oh yes for years I’ve been on Paxil for thirty years, that why I craft and paint ,I do mixed media with water colour and pastels!! Everything you said hit home,I love to knit! Scrapbook and make cards!! Thanks Christina xxxx
I’ve had anxiety attacks before. Lately It’s been a little stressful a times due to being at home for 3 weeks and counting . I’ve been crocheting 🧶 and painting 🖼 on canvas and also rock painting. Today I’m going to do a little sewing 🧵. Thank you so much for sharing and being so honest. It’s knowing your not alone with feelings like these that’s helpful. Thank you for the wonderful ideas. I find your channel very relaxing. God bless you always. ❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽
Crochet is a great stress reliever. I made the mistake of trying to start a business selling crocheted items. That made me so very anxious! Now I crochet for pleasure. I find it very relaxing.
Thank you so much for this. Seriously. I am a knitter and crocheter and they both help me immensely. I've been handling my anxiety pretty well until recently, but the situation has gone from concerning to downright scary. I've never had a panic attack before but earlier this week I started to feel dizzy and just a weird overwhelming feeling came over me. I imagine so many of us are feeling that way right now. Really appreciate your honesty.
Thank you for these ideas! I feel that crafting, cooking and baking help to calm me. I made the paper ❤️ wreath and I love how it turned out. I think of you every time I see it!😊 You’re a beautiful person inside and out! You're family is blessed to have you.
Hi Christina! I tried out your 2 ingredient bread dough recipe the other day! The W.W. one u shared...I LOVED it! I even added a cinnamon twist to half of them . I’m going to keep on making them especially at a time when we have to be more conservative with our food right now, so, thank you very much for sharing that one! It has helped my family and my anxiety levels!! 🙏 Your cinnamon rolls looked delish as well and I’m going to try your recipe on that too! 😘👌💕 On today’s video: I loved to bake bread and buns when I was younger 💛 🍞 And making friendship bracelets with embroidery floss. Haven’t made one in a while but I have everything all out and set up to make and teach my daughter how to soon!! 😜 I want to get better at knitting and crocheting and learn how to macrame a beautiful wall art pc too!!! You are sooo helpful... Thanks for making this one! It’s awesome - you’re awesome!! I’m feeling sooo anxious and sad today 🤷♀️!!?? Just crying and feeling melancholy. I know I’m not alone when I say that too... It’s just hitting me hard all at once with everything! I am so sad about what’s happening to us all right now! A little tlc to lessen the anxiety and stress levels is just what we need to balance us out to help get through this just a bit better! Ya know! Thank you! xo
My Oncologist nurse asks me each time I go, do you have anxiety or depression? Last time I ask her how would you feel if had stage 3 colon cancer? But God's in control cause I couldn't mentally or physically handle it, love all you do, tfs, love from Tn ❤️
Talking about your anxiety on a video like this is such a gift to others. I’m doing well now, but suffered from anxiety and panic attacks from the age of 13 to my late 40s. Talking about it openly over the years has been very helpful. I love the craft ideas. Thank you for making this video.
I’ve suffered for years with anxiety and depression. I live knitting but can’t do a lot now because of the pain I’m in. Thank you your video. Keep safe and well. 🌹
Yes crafting and creating in general is so helpful when times are anxious or uncertain. I'd like to try embroidery. These are helpful suggestions. Thank you. 🙏Sending you love and light. 💕
I made your cinnamon rolls on Monday, and they were a big hit! My granddaughters and my daughter thought that they were delicious, especially the frosting! I also like to craft and get wait to get out to the garden and start planting. I love th have a beautiful backyard and deck. I have only had one panic attack and it was frightening! But, I had other health issues to go along with the attack, which sent me to the ER. Everything has been under control for 17 years, with the help of some medication. It is so important to not be ashamed of these issues and help anyone, who may need it. Thank you for sharing. 💙
Hi Christina. Thank you so much for sharing your issues with anxiety & panic attacks, and the crafts you resort to to calm yourself down in those times! It's so thoughtful of you to share these things with us all and I do appreciate you for it! I, too have struggled with anxiety, panic attacks and depression for just about all of my life, including when I was younger. I am on meds for it now, and they help me to cope so much with life's trials! But I also refer to crafting and diying to feel grounded, calmer, hopeful and even jpyful. Nothing helps me more than coloring in my design books, which I've done since childhoid. I also create plastic canvas items and gifts, needlepoint, making and painting, stenciling diys, and also, I like to play cards-particularly rummy, which I used to play much more when I was a young girl with my Gramma, who I loved spending time with so very much. She also used to cook and bake, which I also enjoy sometimes. This is especially true when I bake home made apple pies because my Gramma taught me how to make them! I also enjoy TRASH to treasure or upcycling items of many kinds! Now, my favorite thing to do, which I now do daily, is to watch diy videoes-including yours, while I do them myself!!!
Thank you for sharing Christina. I am sure we're all experiencing more anxiety than we usually do right now. I am definitely an anxious person. Yes, getting creative is always a great way to calm and distract the mind. I love to art journal. I am currently working on creating a nature journal for myself. We're still able to get outside where I live and I thought doing a nature study would be great to do, both for myself and my kids who are now homeschooling 😉 I find being outside in nature is extremely soothing for my peace of mind🤗 I appreciate you sharing your story with us, and all the resources!! I need to get into embroidery and crocheting again, love the look and very relaxing. Weaving is so relaxing too 🤗 Thanks again. Take care 💖💖💖🙏
Hi Christina, I have some anxiety, but I was waking up with a start, and I felt terrible and could not lie down again. I thought it was panic attacks, but what it was was sleep apnea. Now I use a CPAP machine and it is so much better. I have more energy and no more waking up gasping for breath. Checking with a doctor is a good thing!
This video popped up on my feed this morning and anxiety and panic attacks have been my unwanted companion since my 20’s. I admire and appreciate anyone living with this in their life. Distraction is a great help but recognizing you have anxiety is critical to seeking what works best for you to come out on top! Great video....new subscriber ❤️
I’ve suffered from anxiety for years. I’d wake up and automatically start to feel shaky because of the fear of having to go to work. I always worried about the what if’s. It was too much but I finally found the right medicine to help and now I feel so much better. It’s not fun I know the struggle. And yes it is a struggle. Stay strong and don’t be afraid to talk to your doctor about it. ❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I really enjoyed this video! While I do not have anxiety issues, I have several friends that do. You are so right, these are very calming pursuits. I’m going to check out the craft link. There are always things to learn! I love your paper crafted wreath!! Thanks so much for sharing! 🌱
Such an appropriate video for the current time and beyond. Thank you for sharing your personal struggles and ways you have found helpful. I think many of these ideas are also very appropriate for children who also struggle with anxiety as well. Gentle hugs and thank you
I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one feeling like this here and there. Thank you for sharing this side of you. Big hug for your bravery and speaking out about it.🤗 And I would love to learn crochet. 🤞
Great tips and thanks for sharing. People need to know they don't always have to have it together but just find productive ways to deal. Deep breaths everyone.
A very nice video. I do a few of those crafts and the painting, and coloring. Used to crochet when I was little, but have forgotten it. Would love to make the pink hearts you made. God Bless.
I am feeling such anxiety when I step outside for a walk. Living in a city, it is challenging to remain six feet apart on a walk. Also, mentally challenged people are a problem on the streets of Seattle. The other day a mentally ill man screamed at me and chased me. I haven't taken a walk in days. Thank you for your calming craft ideas. Thank you for sharing. Wonderful video!
Thank you for sharing, such a needed video right now for everything that we are all going through.. Crafting is one of the best things to do when dealing with this. ( anxiety). I know it helps me a lot. Stay Safe. 😀❤️🌺🌼🌻🌷
I had a dr explain that: Anxiety is worry for the future and Depression is worry for the past So... We can work to slow down with meditation and use mindfulness to help to live in the moment, worry free 💗
Thank you so much for this comment. I was so fortunate that when I suffered from depression, I was part of a day program that focused on mindfulness. That was many years ago and I still use the skills I learned daily. The one thing can say is that it did take a lot of practice for me to be mindful. I'm a "type A" over achiever at heart, so I have to fight these tendencies.
Yes, I too have suffered from panic attacks and anxiety. I love to bake. I have made your banana bread recipe twice already and it is now my favorite banana bread recipe.
Yes I suffer from depression. When my mom passed I didn’t take it well... still on anti anxiety and antidepressants. I feel better but there’s still a long way to go. I’m optimistic about my journey and where I end up is where I want to be!! 🙂
I also have the same problems. I had my first attack at age 17. I had no idea what was going on at all. I didn't know until I was in my mid 30s. Mine are chronic now. I have to take meds every day for it. I'm now 55 years old. I craft and garden and paint. It helps me alot. Also I have stopped watching the news media about 6 months ago. That's helps me alot to.
I have always wanted to try the candle making. I have all the supplies that I have collected after watching your video but have never gotten around to it. Thank you
Love your videos and all your DIYs. Thank you for sharing. I have anxiety, ocd, ptsd. So I hear you and I get you. I’ve been doodling and planning a TON.
I already do most of these. Will have to check out bullet journaling. I haven't knitted in a while but I do crochet. Thank you for sharing these ideas with us. I know everyone will find something that works for them. Breathing exercises work wonders also. Not to mention the improved lung function you will get from doing this. And at a time like this we definitely need better lung function. 💐🤗💐💞💕💓
Thank you for being open and honest about anxiety. It gets the conversation going and helps lift the stigma. For a long time I felt shame when it first started happening to me and it took me a long time to be able to tell other people about it. Crafting definitely helps me. Thank you for all of your inspiration that you share! Stay healthy and safe my friend ❤
As we are in total lockdown in New Zealand, I am crocheting myself a jacket. It consists of 84 granny squares, at this stage I have completed 24. I suffer from depression and do find crocheting very relaxing.
Yes, I have PTSD and find this time a little challenging to say the least. I paint and craft make to relieve my stress at the moment. My anxiety makes it almost impossible to crochet or knit. LOL Thank you for this nice video. I learn how to do many crafts through watching youtube videos.
Love this so much! And I love you explained the panic attack and disassociation. So true. I scrapbook and have paints. It’s been a long time since I crocheted. Would love to get back into it. 💖
I really want to try embroidery and I now that we have so much time in our hands.. it’s a great time to start. And yes baking is a huge stress reliever for me! Thank you for the video!
Love the hearts! Can you PLEASE tell me what size hook that is? With the stay-at-home order, I don't want to go out nor is hobby lobby open. I thought I might order from Amazon!
Been having a rough time with anxiety and sadness due to not being able to have my daughter and granddaughter visit. Also the lack of creativity with crafting isn't helping eother. I watch UA-cam videos and I'm still not inspired or I don't have the supplies....a lot of suck right now which we are all trying to make the best of it. Today I noticed my peonies were sprouting up so that was a positive thing. Hoping the other one I planted last year comes up this year. Sometimes I don't know what happens to it when you put that little root thing in the ground and nothing happens lol 🌹!
Yep, I have awful anxiety. Have had it all my life. Started having panic attacks a few years ago. Did not know that I was having one. Finally figured it out. Terrifying. Seeing a good Dr now. But try to calm myself before I get there. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. God Bless.
I would add braiding to the list! I tried making the fabric twine, but found braiding easier and more mindless. I've made a giant rope of it already, and really need to start creating a basket or something. The kids love dragging it around the house to see how far it will stretch. ;)
I would love to see the finished crafts.. are they yours or are they on blueprint.. they are all so nice.. it would be fun to make a recipe journal .. we could do one along with you.. adding a new recipe each month? your choices of crafts are always spot on!
Great idea & thank you! Some of the finished crafts are here on my channel, and I'm still working on one of the knit pieces, the colouring & my journal.
I had my first panic attack at 16yrs. Old. Someone taught me a breathing trick when I was in my 20’s . That was very helpful however I am really suffering through this. I have lost a friend the this virus already. I pray no one else! Stay Safe
You are so multi-talented! I recently went back to embroidery, too...I'm making a set of pillow cases. Thanks for such a helpful, inspiring video; at a time when we really needed it
Lots of anxiety recently :( love these ideas, also started sewing little felt critters it has helped shift mindset but sometimes is just hard to get started :/
I've struggled with anxiety also have had panic attacks. I don't have someone to talk to, so saying this on here, makes me feel better. Stay safe and well.

I have panic attacks and have since adolescence. I love to knit, oil paint, make soaps and bake. All good things to help destress.
I like drawing and painting when anxious, it can calm me down nicely. Crochet is good too.

Doing yoga is the best thing for anxiety. I do all the crafts that you have suggested and none of them give me the relief yoga does. Also walking in nature is very relaxing. ( Just have to keep your distance now.)
Hi Christina, it is wonderful to see and hear you talking so candidly about suffering from anxiety and giving ideas and tips. I would also suggest people to use Apple technique developed by Carol Vivvian:

Hi Christina, yes, I can get stressed, and find crafting very soothing. Crochet is my go to!
You always inspire me Christina and thank u for all your wonderful ideas. I love to plant , paint and bake with dough. Hope u feel good always.
YES! YES!

How are you doing???
To you as well 💜
A-type, high anxiety, adhd.
Love your channel, I find crocheting and knitting calming and relaxing. 😀
This is very needed especially during this stressful time of isolation. Thanks!
I'm sorry that you struggle. ❤️ I hope you can find comfort in crafting this month!
I find your channel calming no matter what you do. I agree about knitting and I'm using up my stash during this time. Bless you
I crochet, coloring, painting and sewing. They help me relax. I also love to get lost in a book.
Bless your heart...such a sweet thing to do.
So needed in this time of uncertainty. Thanks for sharing and being a light for others!
I too suffer from severe anxiety and panic attacks. Thank you for sharing these tips with all of us .
I have huge anxiety problems! Thank you for this video! Bless your heart!
Forgot to ask where can I find youre recipe for those bagels with the sesame seeds. They look delicious.
They are here: thediymommy.com/2-ingredient-bagels-weight-watchers-friendly/
Thank you for always being so open and honest about yourself. It helps to know we are not alone.
💜
Hi Christina!
I tried out your 2 ingredient bread dough recipe the other day! The W.W. one u shared...I LOVED it! I even added a cinnamon twist to half of them .
I’m going to keep on making them especially at a time when we have to be more conservative with our food right now, so, thank you very much for sharing that one! It has helped my family and my anxiety levels!! 🙏
Your cinnamon rolls looked delish as well and I’m going to try your recipe on that too! 😘👌💕
On today’s video: I loved to bake bread and buns when I was younger 💛 🍞
And making friendship bracelets with embroidery floss. Haven’t made one in a while but I have everything all out and set up to make and teach my daughter how to soon!! 😜
I want to get better at knitting and crocheting and learn how to macrame a beautiful wall art pc too!!!
Ya know!
Thank you! xo
Thanks so much. I have days like that too 💜
My Oncologist nurse asks me each time I go, do you have anxiety or depression? Last time I ask her how would you feel if had stage 3 colon cancer? But God's in control cause I couldn't mentally or physically handle it, love all you do, tfs, love from Tn ❤️
Talking about your anxiety on a video like this is such a gift to others. I’m doing well now, but suffered from anxiety and panic attacks from the age of 13 to my late 40s. Talking about it openly over the years has been very helpful. I love the craft ideas. Thank you for making this video.
Crafting has always been a form of therapy for me, even before I realized that is why I always gravitated to it! Great video!
💜
We're still able to get outside where I live and I thought doing a nature study would be great to do, both for myself and my kids who are now homeschooling 😉 I find being outside in nature is extremely soothing for my peace of mind🤗
I appreciate you sharing your story with us, and all the resources!!
I need to get into embroidery and crocheting again, love the look and very relaxing. Weaving is so relaxing too 🤗
Thanks again.
This would be so good for my sister who suffer from anxiety and depression, thank you so much.
Thanks for watching! I absolutely agree with you 💜
I’ve suffered from anxiety for years. ❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I'm glad to hear you're doing better! Yes, my Dr has helped me too. ❤️
The DIY Mommy I’m happy to hear ! It took me years to trust but once I did omg the difference it made in my life. Thanks for sharing !
God Bless.
Thanks for watching! You can find the pink hearts here: ua-cam.com/video/ag56DtrbBwg/v-deo.html
I love the idea of bullet journaling! and I'm waiting for adult coloring book to come from amazon... :-)
@Cappys mom Thank you. You stay safe, also.
Thank you for sharing, such a needed video right now for everything that we are all going through.. Crafting is one of the best things to do when dealing with this. ( anxiety). I know it helps me a lot. Stay Safe. 😀❤️🌺🌼🌻🌷
I had a dr explain that:
Anxiety is worry for the future
and
Depression is worry for the past
So...
Great way to think about it; thank you!
@MJOSEPHINE FONZO , so happy to hear that!!! 💗💗💗
ohh please thats not how mental illness works.
Yes, I too have suffered from panic attacks and anxiety. I love to bake. I have made your banana bread recipe twice already and it is now my favorite banana bread recipe.
Awesome!
Yes I suffer from depression. When my mom passed I didn’t take it well... still on anti anxiety and antidepressants. I feel better but there’s still a long way to go. I’m optimistic about my journey and where I end up is where I want to be!! 🙂
Sketchbooking is a great stress reliever too!
Great idea!
Thank you for your openness.
I love your vulnerability ♥️ Thank you for being so authentic and always reaching out to help others!
Hugs! ❤️
You as well 💜
Thanks these will help me with my anxiety .
Thankyou for sharing. You are so talented and beautiful and brave!
As we are in total lockdown in New Zealand, I am crocheting myself a jacket. It consists of 84 granny squares, at this stage I have completed 24. I suffer from depression and do find crocheting very relaxing.
Sounds like a great project! I'd love to see it when you're done! Tag me on instagram or Facebook at @thediymommy - take care 💜
knitting soothes me!!
I fight both anxiety & depression. I find coloring to be very soothing.
Yes! I love colouring as well :)
I really want to try embroidery and I now that we have so much time in our hands.. it’s a great time to start. And yes baking is a huge stress reliever for me! Thank you for the video!
Embroidery is such a beautiful craft. Thanks for watching!
Love the hearts! Can you PLEASE tell me what size hook that is? With the stay-at-home order, I don't want to go out nor is hobby lobby open. I thought I might order from Amazon!
I HAVE ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUGGESTIONS & LINKS!!! I WILL CHECK THEM OUT! 🤗💖
You're welcome!
God Bless.
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it gets better. ❤️
You are Amazing!!! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and ideas.
I struggle with anxiety and the only 2 things that really help me is exercising and baking. I want to try painting or sewing too.
I find junk journals very helpful. It is a mixture of many things like paper, fabric etc.🙂🇨🇦
Neat idea!
I would add braiding to the list! I tried making the fabric twine, but found braiding easier and more mindless. I've made a giant rope of it already, and really need to start creating a basket or something. The kids love dragging it around the house to see how far it will stretch. ;)
Great idea!
I have been thinking about learning to make those little felt animals.God Bless.
I had my first panic attack at 16yrs. Old. Someone taught me a breathing trick when I was in my 20’s . That was very helpful however I am really suffering through this. I have lost a friend the this virus already. I pray no one else! Stay Safe
I'm so sorry to hear that. This is tough time. ❤️
You are so multi-talented! I recently went back to embroidery, too...I'm making a set of pillow cases. Thanks for such a helpful, inspiring video; at a time when we really needed it
Thank you for the inspiration! I made some banana bread yesterday 😊
Great post ! Thank you for sharing ! (Yes, I suffer from anxiety too)
Lots of anxiety recently :( love these ideas, also started sewing little felt critters it has helped shift mindset but sometimes is just hard to get started :/
Good job, you have experience in art, I like painting.
I have anxiety and I craft, so I completely agree 💯
I love your aura. Thank you for youtubing.
Thank YOU for watching :)
Thank you for such a kind video. Hugs
