Hey guys!
So this video was made within a few days in comparison to my other videos that may take a week or two and it was to get my opinion out there about the misconceptions behind Valentino. Because something I didn't mention was how both sides hold up the same argument even when Hellaverse fans are the ones in the right. Which is anytime Val is mentioned the other side goes "Hes a r@pist" and thats their entire argument (They never elaborate). While its clear where my stance is when most fans hate his actions and love everything outside of him, just like any other villain whos written to be villanous. Thraxx, King Andrias, King Pin, Farquad, Lord Shen, the Chameleonm Striker, Crimson, etc. And speaking of I wanted to bring up that Stella is a character who was implied to SA Stolas when conceiving an egg, and yet she gets a ton of excuses behind her actions by those who do and don't criticise Val fans. Even if its fine to like Stella as a character, even Val fans don't excuse his actions of sa and abuse despite popular belief. Which is why I fear when Invincible adapts the Anissa scene we'll see an influx of people defending her since thats already been happening.
Also I usually play up my anger in other videos but this video was one of the more genuine times I was pissed off for a character whos not even in my top 5 Hazbin characters. I had seen so much discourse, harassment, by people who just want to enjoy a show without people in the hatedom sending harassment to fans. If one of you sees this, *you know who you are* . None of you have the moral high ground because unlike Viv who's controversies have mostly been dealt with from nearly a decade ago, and current controversies are proven outright false with simple research and bigger followings providing proof otherwise. While you all continue to do things right now like harassment, victim blaming, b3@astality and much more. You can't blame us for hating you. You felt us push you because you shoved us first.

Thanks for this video, I've first watched a french content creator who made a video about the hate towards Valentino (octo_lady it's a 40min vid) and I was gobsmacked in all the wrong ways possible about the harassment and hate towards ppl who like the character for the villain he is (like actually physically threatening Val's cosplayers?!?)
I've watched Hazbin and Helluva without following anything about the Fandom but videos popping up in my YT feed made me curious and HolyF this is sooo toxic and violent!
How a hatedom even exist? How is it even a thing?
I like the Vees and I like Val as a character even as someone who go through tones of abuse in my life! I understand why Angel had fall for him and that the worst thing here, coz those ppl are so uptight to their opinion "knowing it all" that they can't even understand that they are in a way victim blaming Angel for falling into Valentino's dirty wings "coz he's a r**pist, he's horrible blablabla, you can't love a person (moth) like that"
And as you said I think 99% who likes Val as a Character do condemn his actions!
And it's a f***in' fiction! It is supposed to be cathartic for some ppl! And by doing all this sh*tty thing they are definitely No better than Valentino who is a fictional character when actual real ppl are harassing and threatening other real ppl over a animated show it's insane!
In a way it remembers me the whole Astarion drama from Baldur's Gate 3 and how sooo many cis8 guys were blaming women and queer ppl (and mostly survivor of abuse!!!) who were simping him!
Can't we like characters in peace anymore without barking dogs to tell us who or what to like or not seriously?
Like you don't like a character fine do you have to brag, be an a** about it NO!
So again thank you for this video and now I will step back faaaaar away from the HH HB Fandom/Hatedom (still crazy to think about it to be even real)
And just enjoy two shows that I do like!
