The Amico truly is the disappointment that keeps on disappointing, just when you think it's hit rock bottom and can't seem to get any worse, they somehow find a way to keep making it worse.
So no Harlem Globetrotters game, but at least you can play with Big Bird wearing Larry Bird's Celtics 33 jersey.
Playing those games with the Amico controller must be a nightmare. But also proves that Tommy never signed or neither talked with the owners of Sesame Street and Care Bears IP.
One of the many red flags from the Amico Scam.
Did you try them with the Amico controller? Were you there when Tommy never talked to them?
Comments with no authenticity.
@@PuzZLeR_00 Leave the talk about gaming to the gamers. This is our wheelhouse after all.
@@SomeOrangeCat That's what I tell Gamers too. Stick to your wheelhouse, which is the Switch, PS, etc. Your crapping of Amico is immaterial. It's not your market.
@@PuzZLeR_00 can you tell us what is the actual market…without using the vague human experience & board games phrases? Like…tell us people outside of your A/V Sales Engineering world what was/(cough)is TommIE’s system project endeavor’s main market?
Thanks.
@@F1JV I will take your question seriously this once, even though I answered it many times already.
Nintendo is selling the video game experience, whether it's serious gaming or casual or otherwise.
If people want to shop for video games, they will choose amongst a Switch, PS, etc., not Amico.
Amico is NOT selling video games. They are selling an "experience" of playing together in the same room, just like board games have been selling for over a century. Only, Amico is USING video games instead of cards and dice.
Different market. Different mindset.
Impossible to fail?
These are the games Tommy needs!
so they ripped off investors & pre-order customers using sesame street. even for them that is low. but at least at the 2 minute 48 sec mark it looks like cookie monster rocking a John Alvarado mustache
By virtue of existing we know these games are finished works. Since they all run on smartphones we also know that they work in an Android/Linux environment and are not very demanding.
But we’ve never seen footage or demonstrations of these games running on “Amico” hardware. We’ve never seen demonstrations of their use of the controller. As far as we know, all of this footage is of the existing mobile or PC versions. They’ve never appeared on Alverado’s “roadmap”, nor have they ever been given the “I’m just waiting for the source code from the developer” excuse. So why announce these games?
To attract investors who didn’t know better. Like all things Amico, the goal was to sell the idea to investors who would contribute money or buy them out. Hopefully these investors didn’t dig to find out that these “exclusive games” could already be had for free.
Very little of IE’s game library actually exists (remember Tommy saying they had 80+ games in development?). But they wanted to sell investors the idea of them. They’re still at it, trying to sell you a racing game with one track.
I think Tommy's version of "in development" is like Lee Bright Jr's version of "In pre-production" aka "I have an idea and I wrote it down!"
@@SomeOrangeCat 100%. Mrme on the Atariage forum once said that Tommy simply saying a game was in development made it so. He's another one of the shills who, no matter how badly this Amico debacle goes, will do mental gymnastics to convince others and maybe even himself that everything Tommy and Intellivision said was somehow true and that they never lied. The long list of announced games and licences (sorry, partnerships) were just meant to fool people into thinking they had their ducks in a row, when in actuality very little work was done. Tommy even spent money on licences for Sesame Street, MLB, Hot Wheels, and American Cornhole League. Those last two turned into Side Swipers with one track, and Cornhole that has major bugs even though it was supposed to be a pack-in for a system that was due out four years ago. Oof.
Meanwhile Atari is doing more with the Intellivision IP in the span of one month than the Amico people did with it in six years.
All part of TommIE’s master plan for Amico…it was never really about Mattel’s Intellivision or the Running Man guy or the Rebel pixel thingy or the rivalry 2600 Flounders Editions etc.
I think the $27 tablet my son has is worth more than Amico ever could have hoped to be.
Cookie Monster: "So today, me going to bake, you guess it: COOKIES!"
Just wanted to make that reference.
All the Amico could get was the Dookie Monster game...which is a lot wilder to say the least.
Mustache McGee is getting desperate. Remember those bundles of "physical products" they were selling a while back. Well now John is letting you buy them individually...for $25 a pop. He then erroneously advertises them as "boxed edition games" that are "available on Amico Home." There are no games in the boxes and almost nothing pictured is available on Amico Home. An RFID chip that tells a server that's no longer online, to download software to a console that is never coming out is not a "game" in any sense of the word.
The Amico just keeps giving and giving. If the company has limited money and minimal sales , i dont see how they could produce consoles or controllers
Well according to the resident expert on everything aka Puzzler, you don't need sales to make money!
@@SomeOrangeCat when you don't have sales or money, it's not a company, it's a hobby
Hobbies can become successful businesses but I don't see that as the path for Amcio
@@retroxcellence5186 Its not even a hobby, because you need genuine affection for it to be a hobby.
You did it NSG!
Keeping the Amico Saga alive
Wasn’t ‘10-10-2020’ a long distance company???
It was a number to dial for discounted long distance calls.
HAHA good memory. It was one number off, 10-10-220
@@HELPMYCAPSLOCKISSTUCK yeah not my kids birthdays this frikkin phone number I remember. And the code to fight Mike Tyson
Intellivision really scraped the bottom of the barrel for these ones.
This is all very dispiriting. Snake oil salesmen.
Those games are still in the plans for TommIE’s system project endeavor. And per HuzZLeR…TommIE’s company is in the best position on planet Earth in regards to dominating the future videogame landscape. They have the technology & the industry experience & the hunger to be the main disrupters/winners going forward.
Plus now…TommIE’s company finally has the albatross of Mattel’s singular console name from the 80s off their back. That load was too heavy a burden for their modern human experience aspirations…per the reasonable/rational/all knowing HuzZLeR.
The dissolution of the company will just be another genius move as far as Guzzler is concerned. "Now that Phil and John aren't weighed down by corporate BS, they can craft the Amico into a true passion project. One not governed profit margins and the market!"
@@SomeOrangeCat…this was always known to be the real path forward for TommIE’s system project endeavor. And in reality is way ahead of schedule if not looked at through envious Haterz eyes.
Look, I know you guys are trying to rip at me, twist my words, insult me, etc. Just to inform you that such attempts are weak, and only an attempt to avoid the truth - Amico was never selling you.
So, instead of wallowing in your butthurt rejection, why don't you just go get a Switch and play some cool games? I assure you it will do wonders for the mental anguish I, and Amico, have caused you.
@@PuzZLeR_00 because of you…I still believe.

@@F1JV Thank you for your encouragement, but we don't need anything from you. You are free to go to Nintendo.
Edutainment is one of the dumbest words devised
It used to stand for excellent titles like The Oregon Trail.
Oregon Trail the OG survival game, enduring for generations
@@ccricers It's held up so well! It's still just as engaging as it was all those decades ago.
I can turn on my tap and get free water. Why should I spend money to buy, and lug home, bottled water then? For some "experience" that I will never understand? Look, I can make fun of this product all day, but the reality of the situation is that I am NOT its market.
If IE believes that these games are worth paying for in a big screen environment, with the Amico controller, then so be it. You don't understand it? Cool. You are not its market. Go play them for free then.
So you’re saying the whole world is not TommIE’s market BUT that there is still a market for TommIE’s system project endeavor but that it is a non-existing market within the whole world market?
Okay…I think I got it.
TommIE’s market = 10-100 people outside of any existing market
I think I agree with you again HuzZLeR.
@@F1JV I didn't say the "whole world" is not Amico's market. I just said YOU are not Amico's market.
Now, instead of making silly twisted troll comments, why don't you just go play free games online? Meanwhile, I'll just go to my kitchen to have my free water.
@@F1JV The market for the Amico are people whose brains take a full five seconds to register the pain, after touching something hot.
If there turns out to be no market for TommIE’s system project endeavor…what is your response then to that truism?
@@SomeOrangeCat At least Amico people take a full 5 seconds. That's longer than the attention span of most Amico Haters.
Lol seeing Cookie Monster in that chef getup reminds me of E3, OEB Pete and other artifacts from when the Amico was scheduled to come out and blow fans' collective minds. Amazing any of those DJC types actually bought into this garbage scam.
DJC, who used to be the biggest Amico cheerleader of them all, known for farting out several Amico videos a week at one point, has released maybe five Amico-centric videos for 2024 thus far. Things are so dire for them that even he is having trouble coming up with ways to spin.
