Another fun fact is Kid gohans masenko has such a wide hitbox that it sometimes hits opponents behind or to the side of him if they approach
I knew the Kid Goku rock-paper-scissors had multiple versions, but I never knew you could use forward/backward circle to trigger the different animations and combo with them. Awesome vid!
I knew this. When people use to float close to me. I would use the upward strikes to get them. All in all great game

Fact 1 is interestingly enough also implemented in Shin Budokai as Buuhan also has 2 more strings than his other forms due to Gohan’s absorbtion.

Kid gokus voice in budokai 3 was so good. Also always loved how his kamehameha looks ever so slightly different from the rest.

Majin Vegeta dialogue is hilarious he blows himself up and then he's feeling great
Some of the Supers in this game get a kind of Psuedo Armor that's different than the normal armor you get on P+K attacks. It has a damage cap and you actually take damage during it like Salza Blade from Cooler.

Budokai 4 with burst limit graphics ( basically raging blast + Budokai 3 ) that would be freaking awesome
I always wanted a Budokai 4 and one guy who produced the games said there wouldn't be a 4th which idk why, all the new games kinda blow and I like the 2d fighting style or whatever if you know what I mean

The TRUE mystery is what in the world the bottom stat does in story mode I never touched it cause I had no clue what it does

#NostalgicVibes🙆♂️☯️✌Despite all the DBZ games that have come out over the years, BT1 has the most badass and authentic Intro of all of DBZ games of the Franchise. BT2 and BT3 in my opinion still remains the most Unique and the best DBZ games in terms of content, quality and fanservices. And from the gameplay perspective aspects, these DBZ games that I mentioned are very close to the anime itself because of the Vibe and Charm, I don't know how to describe it but it was, and still is the most Unique DBZ experience you could have with the combat factor. (- Sheer amount de of characters
- Transformations mid-battle (powering up and down)
- Fusions mid-battle
- Fast gameplay that has that "woah" feel
- Tons of extra content
- Story mode covering all sagas + movies
- What If sagas
- Shenron having permanent impact on game (character unlocks and whatnot)
- Great tournaments that rotate availability
- Edit characters with items (buffs)
- 5v5 battles
- Really Great and Epic Soundtracks
- Destroyable environments
- Entire stages could be blown up into their "destroyed" alternatives
- Mission 100 being a great challenge
- Artwork is 10/10
- Sound effects are great
- Combat feels heavy and satisfying) Only Budokai 3, Infinite World, Raging Blast 1 and 2 and PSP DBZ games are still considered also very solid DBZ games, also the hidden gem that a lot of DBZ fans missed from PS2 Era of DBZ games is "Super Dragon Ball Z" which is also a real Unique and DBZ game, especially for the different gameplay aspects perspective. ✌☯️

Doppietta-san, could you make a video covering all differences between Budokai Greatest Hits and the Budokai 3 Mod Remix by Trevor1344? I've been playing and learning the mechanics of the game through the mod but I don't know the key differences, in specific, during combat, I tried the Goku combos and Vegeta's without cancelling, and it's a total failure, if I'm fast enough in the strings, the character drops, if not, the combo breaks, at least in practice mode in the mod, anyway, I think it would be interesting to see a comparison like that to expand the modding community just like Tenkaichi 3, with month by month, new games and playable characters/strings/abilities, I think it would be nice to see this in Budokai 3, and I have nice ideas for character mods, strings and skills or special moves but I'm too shy to contact Trevor XD, peace Dr. ! Your content is beautiful and made my nostalgia return to this marvelous game that I adore since my childhood and for me, is the best in the franchise, and in fact, made me have a new approach to the game seeing your channel and speedrunners tips and stuff that I wouldn't knew about. Is there no mod for this game that has the current anime characters inside it? this dragon ball is the best shot, a shame it fell into oblivion
There are mods... but none of them is actually that good.
You can try looking for B3 Super mod.

Been a while since I used Super Buu, what's good about his sidestep? Is it faster somehow?
Is the sidestep good enough to outweigh the damage and bar buff? I think I remember a quick rolling step but I'm not sure how significant that defensive maneuver is.
It's what makes him possibly the best character in the game
That Tien story mode mission was hell because of that shit 😂

I thought all moves scaled in fighting games whether it is one hit or not.
In this game, almost every move scales, but there are several exception.

Majin Vegeta's final explosion is literally an instant kill?
There's no way to survive it?
Yes, it always sets both players healths to 0.1, the only way to survive is to win the minigame/struggle.
Ultimates in this game are really easy to avoid and if they combo'd you into this then they took a huge risk of blowing the match due to missing a bar

As far as I know, you can buy the Budokai HD Collection for PS3, but I don't think you can buy it from the PS Store.
You'd be better off getting a PS2 with the game, or even better an emulator running on PC.
If you can find it, the hd collection is awesome, nothing really new there, but the HD graphics are appreciate.

Hi Dr. Doppietta, i have a question. Is goku the only one in dragon universe who has a yellow battle point at the beginning at mountains? Or do the other story characters have a yellow battle point?
That's the optional battle point, everyone have it and it can have different colors (red, yellow, green).

I'm sure it does, but I don't know what each color means. Also, I've never seen (or I don't remember) seeing a *white* Battle Point. Can you show me an example of it, please?
@@Dr._Doppietta come to think of it i might not have seen a white one, but i know piccolo and krillin have invisible battle points. I forget which saga but in 1 of the sagas you go to grandpa gohan place and its a battle point but theres no aura

It does work in Training, but since your HP is capped to 3000, you won't see that number.
