I have always preferred rings because of the customization and personalization it allows. But I also use a notebook (my choice is the Moleskine large) which I use for more details that's not necessarily to-do lists and such. It keeps things clean and organized and I know where everything is!

The LV GM. I think the format is better for you. Maybe if you have any extra notes, you can write them on blank lined paper

Of course I am a huge B6 Stalogy fan and especially how you have yours setup but you sound excited about the LV so I vote for the LV.
