🌵🌵🌵🌵🐪🐪 with sensitivity! I had to stop Retnoil after using for 9 months without any issues and start at ground zero I appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!
Sometimes ground 0 is a great place to be, a clean slate! I recommend you try the Tower 28 moisturizer first if you're skin barrier is super sensitized and then possibly graduate to the first aid beauty moisturizer! Hope this helps! Please consider subscribing 💞
I have extremely dry skin when I wear makeup I am using several moisturizes under foundation but it still looks awful & dry. Using Clinique & Lancome foundations. Moisturizer use is Clinique Moisture surge super charged , dramatically different moisturizing lotion+, nature well extra virgin coconut oil plus a primmer before foundation & it still looks dry. What can I do?
Hi Teresa ✨ That can be so frustrating when you are trying to do everything you can and still not getting results! What else are you using in your routine? Any retinol or salicylic Acid? These could be drying your skin out, discontinue if so. I recommend you try switching to a thicker moisturizer, possibly the Tula howl.me/clF0VEnVHGR . You're already using the clinique hydration serum, I took a look at the ingredients and they seem fine. But since you're still feeling very dry I would switch to another brand. Tula has one: howl.me/clYv8xd3Bgf or even the Drunk Elephant B Hydra: howl.me/clYwbcVIHFe Also, I'm not sure which of the clinique and lancome foundations your using but check out this video and maybe consider a more hydrating foundation: ua-cam.com/video/uYepHcWvLVY/v-deo.htmlsi=2ZKmxkNVRf_wpBK_ Lastly, if you're actually flakey, try using a physical exfoliant 1-3x per week to remove and renew your skin cells on the surface of your skin! Hope this helps 💓 Please consider subbing 💓
THANK YOU🙏 🙏🙏 I was literally just thinking about buying a new moisturizer. Due to changes in temperature my skin has been SOOO dry. You always come through with these videos 🤧🩷
Hi Adri! Thank you for sharing this video. It was very helpful to me. My skin used to be a combination, but it's getting more dry and sensitive after my pregnancy. I guess my hormones changed. I'm thinking of changing my moisturizer, and I'm currently using Korean Cosrx Advanced Snail 92 All-in-one cream and using mostly Korean skincare products. I've had bad blackheads on my nose, and that's why I've been using Korean products to help me reduce the blackheads. I see my pores have gotten smaller and lesser blackheads now. However, the skin get so tight and it gets flaky. It also feels so warm/hot sometimes after I do doublr cleansing. Can you please recommend some other oil cleanser, foam cleanser, and essence along with moisturizer for my sensitive and dry skin? I really do appreciate your response. 🙏🏻❤️
Hi, thanks for watching! The double cleansing seems like it may be irritating your skin, try this oil cleanser: howl.me/cmV1G0wbzfl (and it's Korean!) I remember using this essense: howl.me/cmVMVZxuL4v and lovvvving it but it's spendy, heads up! If you're super sensitive and maybe even have an irritated skin barrier atm, try this moisturizer: howl.me/cmV1JONJ4mb Hope this helps ✨ Please consider subscribing 🫶🏼
What would you recommend for mature skin. I am 54 and my face just feels dry and lacks that dewy look I want. I was using products from Pomifera but felt that did not give me enough moisture. So I went back to using products from Noche Skincare. I have very little in the way of fine lines, some age spots (discoloration) and Rosacea (light case but does flair up from time to time). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. There are so many items on the market and with sensitive skin it is hard to just try anything. Would love a simple skin care routine that works.
Hi Kelly! Thanks for asking. If you have sensitive skin with moderate rosacea outbreaks, I would try Tower 28. This is great for rosacea and eczema prone skin, it can help reduce redness and calm the skin. This will be a great consistency if your skin is just moderately dry, as it's not super thick. It also has lots of ingredients that can help replenish your skin barrier. In terms of dewiness, lets add a hydration serum or a glowy SPF! A hydration serum that I would recommend is the Tula one: howl.me/clY4QZ4FNpL or the drunk elephant b- hydra: howl.me/clY4SndUCzx Those should provide you radiance from within over time. If you want immediate glowyness, try the Tula SPF: howl.me/clUhxQA9jvs or the Supergoop SPF: howl.me/clUhxqX0mle The sephora sale started today so you can get a discount! I also have a Tula discount for the tula website: ADRIDURAN hope this helps! come back and let us know how it goes 💞
You lost me at the Olehenricksen Strength Trainer….. I have dry skin but everytime I use this moisturizer, I break out. 😢 I almost got the Summer Friday instead but didn’t. Now thinking back, a lot of cream moisturizers do tend to break me out (belif cream, drugstore brands). Could my skin be leaning more towards dehydrated rather than dry? I feel like I’m ALWAYS struggling for the right product
I recently tried the Clinique 100hr and I swear it felt so heavenly and didn’t break me out. I always thought to avoid the gels though. (I swear I’m not oily type) pls send your thoughts❤
Hi! Ole and Belief brands are both not clean products. Maybe you skin is sensitive to certain ingredients that come with the territory of a non-clean brand or specifically the Ole product has a ton of fragrance that could be the culprit. Have you tried First Aid beauty? That is clean and fragrance free. Does your skin have dry flakeyness? It wouldn't hurt to add a hydrating serum to your routine, possibly this one from Tula: howl.me/cmfDlsqYA49
What moisturizer do you recommend under foundation for dry skin plz ? All the ones mentioned looked very thick to me which lead to Cakey foundation even after waiting 5-10 min after applying the moisturizer I am looking for moisturizing but light one that is give my makeup flawless finish ..I use Estée Lauder foundation
Are you using Double Wear? If so, I would switch to a more moisturizing foundation if you have dry skin and you're experiencing a cakey look. Double Wear is a full coverage matte foundation. Moisturizer will not make your makeup look cakey. Gel moisturizers have a thinner formula but are best for oily skin and may not hydrate dry skin enough. If your makeup is still looking cakey, consider using a chemical or physical exfoliant. Build up of dead flakey skin can lead to your foundation looking cakey 💗
@@AdriDuran thx for the reply ..yes I am using Eatee launder and looking for a good but light moisturizer that matches well with it for dry skin if you have any suggestions please

@@AdriDuran Thanks Adri, but I already tried the First Aid Beauty ‘Firming Cream’ … it felt very heavy and made my skin feel stiff. Tower 28 was only a little better and too greasy. I liked SkinFix at first but I don’t love it and it gave me minor pimples. If you can please recommend some others I’d really appreciate your help! The thing is, I’ve been using Aveeno ‘Clear Complexion’ Daily Moisturizer for almost 20 years… but a year or two ago, Aveeno changed their formula and my last bottle of the original is about to run out and is almost expired. TLDR, I’m desperate for a new facial moisturizer that isn’t greasy, won’t leave me shiny, dries very quickly, but feels deeply moisturizing, and won’t cause minor pimples.
