Tori usually doesn’t have so much production in her vocals so this was beautiful but definitely different. Great reaction Jacob!
This was such a cool video to watch my man! Awesome to see your insight on the melodies and production.
You can hear the guitar part sampled from Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol in the background of the pre-chorus, and that melody seems to be sampled as well which is probably why it's reminding you of it so much!
You should react to some of Tori Kelly's instagram live concerts! Her rendition of U Remind Me by Usher or her Mariah Carey medley. Just her and a guitar and phenomenal raw vocals! I think as a musician you'd absolutely love these videos!

5/27/22 - I just got back from seeing Illenium at EDC Las Vegas earlier this week so this reaction caught my eyes!
