Also the swamp fruit is nuts: imagine u have the most advanced tech in the world, with that fruit u can basically have ur own portable lab or infinite storage of mass destruction weapons, like nukes, or even for the problem of energy, u can have ur own portable fusion power plant from which u can get basically infinite energy. Also one thing that came to mind now: what is a swamp made of? Mud and mud is dirt + water, so does this mean that u are not weak to water like any other devil fruit, but still even if ur were weak, in case u fall into the sea couldn’t u built some sort of raft made out of mud so that u wouldn’t get submerged like Perospero did with his candy ?
I'd probably go for the Light or Lightning fruits just so I could flex on everyone else by flying at ridiculous speeds, and I could just do it naturally without having any extra tech like Germa 66.
If Caesar’s df isn’t #1 then there’s an issue. If he could do something similar to what aokiji and akainu did to punk hazard then Caesar would be top 1 in the verse. Just imagine him taking the air out of an entire island

I would choose flame, cuz if we are talking about full potential, there is a possibility that a mera user could just burn whole oxygen around you and it is pretty possible to do that, if we look how rumble and gas fruits are used. Imagine igniting oxygen in your opponent. Ofc haki would be able to counter it, since haki can counter Law's df's hax it should be able to counter that as well, but if your haki is stronger and you have conqueror's haki, you would be able to do it. Ace was able to change weather, when he arrived on Drum island, so if Oda wanted to, he could make this theory possible. Also, Ace was able to manipulate light at some extent with his crossfire attack, so controlling real plasma and heat could also be a possibility for the mera mera fruit. Also there is possibility of using explosion to some extend.
The darkness fruit has been pretty terrible based on what Blackbeard has done with it. It's really slow, doesn't allow you to phase through attacks like other logias but instead makes you take MORE damage and it doesn't provide any help against someone who is physically top tier. I mean if pre timeskip Luffy could literally blast Blackbeards ass into a wall so hard that it made him writhe in agony and start bleeding. Yikes I'd rather pick up a sword and start training than eat that fruit. If theres a paramecia version of the darkness fruit its probably called the suicide-suicide fruit.
Blackbeard just didn’t put it to good use as of yet, he was basically a rookie too when he crossed paths with Luffy. Remember it took 3 Admirals to stop Whitebeard’s quake while Blackbeard with his darkness stopped it at point blank range by himself. I think that’s why Blackbeard wanted both Darkness & Quake, MAX Defense & MAX Offense.

Besides that, you have to get close with the darkness fruit to be able to neutralize powers. That just makes you too vulnerable, as we see when Ace hits Blackbeard with fire lances when being drawn in. If that were magma or light, Blackbeard would simnply be dead.
Well we’ve only seen him use it a handful of times and was able to nullify Aces fruit, most likely Marco’s and he even absorbed attacks from top tiers like WB’s quakes & Sengokus shockwaves. Not to mention he can engulf a whole Island with it, then shoot it out as a projectile and that’s still without seeing its awakening yet (unless the awakening is absorbing more df’s which makes it even more broken tbh). In a world where most of the strongest ppl have some type of df, I think it’s one of the more broken ones to have you just gotta know how to use it and be tanky to handle the extra pain
Personally, I'd argue the Magma-Magma fruit being 2nd to the Darkness-Darkness fruit which is on number 1 status in terms of Logias for me. There's a reason why Oda has stated that the Magma-Magma fruit has the highest Dps/Offensive power (meaning this devil fruit does more direct ouchy-ouch compared to other DFs) amongst all logias and devil fruits.
He said it has one of the highest so if there was a tier of offensive power it would be up there. the reason it ranks low is cause of lack of versatility and etc. the Magma fruit is power and power alone tbh

I would like Lightning, it’s the most versatile power and could be utilized outside of combat. If they have a wind logia or cloud logia, they would be fun too.
I'd absolutely pick the light logia. We've seen Kizaru use it for speed and basic laser attacks, but this fruit is so much more powerful than that. First off, not all spectrums of light are visible to the human eye, so right away you can grant yourself invisibility / launch invisible laser attacks at people. Second, by focusing down your lasers you can make very precise cuts, whether that's for medical purposes, or assassination (imagine a small light beam through the pupil of someone's eye to fry their brain). On top of that, your light can be used to power cybernetics, removing the need for a fuel source completely. Light can also be used to create visual illusions, granting massive utility to this fruit. Photon manipulation also means you'd have xray vision, and through manipulating radiowaves, while everyone else in the verse relies on den den mushi for long distance communication (which can be listened in on), you and your crew can speak with radios, granting you a unique and powerful alternative form of communication that no one else is currently able to track. The potential of this fruit is nearly limitless.

It's the most versatile, most comfortable to use, has insane AP, speed, grants you intangibility, you could actually beat your worst enemy (rubber) if you tried to use it in a different way, you name it. Literally all you have to do is give enel good haki and he'd be right to call himself god.
Technically speaking could the max tech that we were talking about in the beginning be used to implated other devil fruit powers into things like Vega punk did to the pacifistas Kizaru lazers? not to mention frunkfread and that bazooka dog. you could attach different abilities to different pieces of tech or parts on your body to use them all. Knowing this do you think that it could potentially make other devil fruit options a better pick than the ones we are thinking of due to the combination of them. Its an interesting thought. Technically speaking anyone should beable to weild multiple devil fruits they just need to be a cyborg or put them into objects. Like the gladiators imagine if the elbaf guys had a shield with the barrier fruit, they themselves ate a zoan fruit, and there sword would have like the poisen fruit. He can turn into light so you can debate that, cause by anime standards then king moves at the speed of light when he chased and caught Sanji during that fight. Then compared to light that only has piercing, burn and explosion damage; lightning has paralysis, piercing, burn and explosion damage. In terms of the straight up best OP Logia is probably it's got to be the Glint Glint Fruit and the Lightning Lightning Fruit it would be the Dark Dark Fruit if it actually allowed you to utilize the concept of darkness properly outside of gravity powers

One thing I wish power scalers would realize is that most times in japanese media "speed of light" is used in a hyperbolic sense. If your going to apply our standards of SoL then you'd have to say anyone capable of it is the strongest in the verse for one simple reason, if something with mass travels at the speed of light, it has INFINITE energy. This would also mean it has infinite durability. If you're not willing to concede that, then let's just accept that it's often gross exaggeration.
simple way to circumvent would be just acknowledging that when shounen manga use "speed of light" it's not equal to "literally the fastest speed the universe is capable of" but just as "very fast"

If with the Chill Chill fruit you could extend abilities similar to Rukia, being able to extract kinetic energy on contact would in theory work to negate heat/energy based abilities. Not only that, but you would also be able to bring someone’s temperature to absolute zero. You also get around Water and can ‘create’ land a lot easier than Crocodile or Akainu. You could literally chill the entire planet and create an Ice Age if you wanted too.
I Feel like a lotta ppl are forgetting the Yami Yami no mi makes the user take double the damage (extra pain) which makes it the only fruit we know so far that has a drawback to it. It’s pretty busted but still, a paper cut must feel like hell 😂
I think dragon is actually a tempest. that he controls wind which can generate storms causing lightning. If you think about it we’ve seen fire and earth and ice(no water just ice) but not air.

Extremely versatile = can make hard objects, shield allies, make the ocean land, etc. Low friendly fire risk (unlike fire/magma). 2. Sand Fruit. Extremely versatile = millions of microscopic pebbles (get creative), can dehydrate people to kill them or dehydrate objects for more sand. EOS water weakness doesn't really matter, everyone strong knows powerful haki. Low friendly Fire 3. Gas Fruit. Powerful. Extremely versatile = Invisible (oxygen). Gas explosions. Poisonous.
I say the Glint fruit and Mera are the most OP. Mera fruit awakening might be blue/white fire which is the hottest flame known on the spectrum. I'd definitely take that fruit over anything else logia.
FIre, lightning or wind if it is a thing hands down. Ever since I was but a boy my "superpower" of choice is to have complete control over fire so of course thats my first pick, but lightning and wind are really close seconds. So basically 1. Ace/Sabo's fruit, 2. Enel's fruit, 3. Dragon's? or whoever else may get it if it even exist fruit.
gasu gasu no mi is really the best if kaido or any yonko had that df , GG unbeatable, he has explosions, can snuff fires , take away oxygen, can fly (or i guess pseudo float) , poison you , etc. if caesar was a fighter and not a scientist he would be damn near unbeatable he was trippin with his DF.
One thing you missed about kizaru's fruit ability is since he is light itself he should have the potential to turn invisible. To add onto your example could you imagin someone like van auger that could turn invisible and travel at the speed of light to sniper locations, shoot bullets at the speed of light. He would be unstopable as a sniper. Or since he is light he in theory should beable to make clones. Or if he conbined observation haki with his fruit he could sense and see anything as far as light reaches which could potentially be the whole world.

Hell yeah! Called them all! Darkness is a given, no way kol would leave out the lightning, and gas gas is just too op. With the gas gas the possibilities are almost limitless. You could control the oxygen in someone's body and pull out their blood, or stop blood flow all together. You can give oxygen poisoning as well as deprive it. You can make a massive explosion by making a huge concentration of oxygen and vaporize an entire town. You can straight up be Roy Mustang!!! And all of that is just a few applications of oxygen alone! So many other games and things you can do!
Gas gas is most OP I mean you can carry colorless and odorless completely undetectable instakill superpoison gas with you and force it into your opponent every time their body has the reflex to breathe. You can literally have a chat with them and do a sneak instakill attack with your poison.
Darkness has that hax extra power related to other DFs, so it kinda wins in that way. That aside, Glint-Glint and Magma and lightning seem top tier. Ice and Fire, Gas and Earth are also high up. I would choose the lightning fruit as number one, For one thing alone, Reaction time. Our body moves using electrical signals, if u can control or amplify those signals then U will react at the speed of light. Similar to what killua did in hunter Hunter, This power is more powerful than seeing the future, or even more powerful than light, If u can move at the speed of light but you react slow as humans then u have a bottleneck, or if u can see the future but can react fast enough then it negates it. Not only enel can react at light speed but also move at the speed of lighting.
So imagine Blackbeard vs Enel in theory enel could teleport in front of blackbeard give him a 200 000 000 attack and blackbeard is done for because it's way to fast and after receiving this attack he would die and not get healed by the yami yami no me

Though if we are going off of the names, I believe Aokiji's isnt the Ice-Ice fruit, its even more broken than that. The one thing I would say that goes against the rumble rumble fruit is we never seen what happened the user gets wet. He was living above the clouds. If it suddenly rain's is it going to be dangerous for the user or the people around you? What will the rain neutralizer the power?

honestly the gas gas fruit in the hands of someone with a chemistry background and imagination it would be nigh impossible to defeat. ceasar wasn't a fighter so he probably didn't push his devil fruits to its limits. yonko would have a tough time dealing with a maxed out gas fruit user.
My boy Enel was so god damn overpowered for the stage where OP was at the time its crazy. Enel could btw also destroy the world like Whitebeard, just be in space, get yourself a big fat iron asteroid and then use your electricity as a railgun and blast the planet
I have to go with the gas gas fruit, it is just too op especially in the one piece universe. In One piece the battle between the strongest can last for hours or even days, that is not going to be the case with the gas gas fruit. A few minutes of not being able to breath or breathing in whatever you have changed the air to, and the job is done.
Gas gas beats anything if you can control it well enough. Imagine turning an island into a vacuum. You can beat all the yonko simultaneously honestly. And you don’t have to worry about them stopping you cus you’re gas, you can literally just fly tf away and never be in reach

But I think the number 3 besides those 2 I'd go with the chilly chilly fruit just because I'd never have to worry about the possibility of drowning on top of the power up I'd receive.

The Rumble Rumble, and the Chill Chill fruits are absolutely broken AF. The ability to control electromagnetism by manipulating EM fields or entropy(allows you to take/absorb energy infinitely) its self. If Aokiji knew what he had NO WAY he would have lost to Akainu, same with Enel and Luffy.

I would choose flame, cuz if we are talking about full potential, there is a possibility that a mera user could just burn whole oxygen around you and it is pretty possible to do that, if we look how rumble and gas fruits are used. Imagine igniting oxygen in your opponent. Ofc haki would be able to counter it, since haki can counter Law's df's hax it should be able to counter that as well, but if your haki is stronger and you have conqueror's haki, you would be able to do it. Ace was able to change weather, when he arrived on Drum island, so if Oda wanted to, he could make this theory possible.
Also, Ace was able to manipulate light at some extent with his crossfire attack, so controlling real plasma and heat could also be a possibility for the mera mera fruit.
Also there is possibility of using explosion to some extend.
The darkness fruit has been pretty terrible based on what Blackbeard has done with it. It's really slow, doesn't allow you to phase through attacks like other logias but instead makes you take MORE damage and it doesn't provide any help against someone who is physically top tier. I mean if pre timeskip Luffy could literally blast Blackbeards ass into a wall so hard that it made him writhe in agony and start bleeding. Yikes I'd rather pick up a sword and start training than eat that fruit. If theres a paramecia version of the darkness fruit its probably called the suicide-suicide fruit.
Blackbeard just didn’t put it to good use as of yet, he was basically a rookie too when he crossed paths with Luffy. Remember it took 3 Admirals to stop Whitebeard’s quake while Blackbeard with his darkness stopped it at point blank range by himself. I think that’s why Blackbeard wanted both Darkness & Quake, MAX Defense & MAX Offense.

Besides that, you have to get close with the darkness fruit to be able to neutralize powers. That just makes you too vulnerable, as we see when Ace hits Blackbeard with fire lances when being drawn in. If that were magma or light, Blackbeard would simnply be dead.
Well we’ve only seen him use it a handful of times and was able to nullify Aces fruit, most likely Marco’s and he even absorbed attacks from top tiers like WB’s quakes & Sengokus shockwaves. Not to mention he can engulf a whole Island with it, then shoot it out as a projectile and that’s still without seeing its awakening yet (unless the awakening is absorbing more df’s which makes it even more broken tbh).
In a world where most of the strongest ppl have some type of df, I think it’s one of the more broken ones to have you just gotta know how to use it and be tanky to handle the extra pain

Personally, I'd argue the Magma-Magma fruit being 2nd to the Darkness-Darkness fruit which is on number 1 status in terms of Logias for me. There's a reason why Oda has stated that the Magma-Magma fruit has the highest Dps/Offensive power (meaning this devil fruit does more direct ouchy-ouch compared to other DFs) amongst all logias and devil fruits.
He said it has one of the highest so if there was a tier of offensive power it would be up there.

I would like Lightning, it’s the most versatile power and could be utilized outside of combat. If they have a wind logia or cloud logia, they would be fun too.
I'd absolutely pick the light logia. We've seen Kizaru use it for speed and basic laser attacks, but this fruit is so much more powerful than that. First off, not all spectrums of light are visible to the human eye, so right away you can grant yourself invisibility / launch invisible laser attacks at people. Second, by focusing down your lasers you can make very precise cuts, whether that's for medical purposes, or assassination (imagine a small light beam through the pupil of someone's eye to fry their brain). On top of that, your light can be used to power cybernetics, removing the need for a fuel source completely. Light can also be used to create visual illusions, granting massive utility to this fruit.
Photon manipulation also means you'd have xray vision, and through manipulating radiowaves, while everyone else in the verse relies on den den mushi for long distance communication (which can be listened in on), you and your crew can speak with radios, granting you a unique and powerful alternative form of communication that no one else is currently able to track. The potential of this fruit is nearly limitless.

To be honest, I don't take speed of light as literal in the case of the Germa tech. Think that's to say they move pretty damn fast. Kizaru on the other hand. He can turn into light so you can debate that, cause by anime standards then king moves at the speed of light when he chased and caught Sanji during that fight. One thing you missed about kizaru's fruit ability is since he is light itself he should have the potential to turn invisible. To add onto your example could you imagin someone like van auger that could turn invisible and travel at the speed of light to sniper locations, shoot bullets at the speed of light. He would be unstopable as a sniper. Or since he is light he in theory should beable to make clones. Or if he conbined observation haki with his fruit he could sense and see anything as far as light reaches which could potentially be the whole world.

honestly the gas gas fruit in the hands of someone with a chemistry background and imagination it would be nigh impossible to defeat. ceasar wasn't a fighter so he probably didn't push his devil fruits to its limits. yonko would have a tough time dealing with a maxed out gas fruit user.

I have to go with the gas gas fruit, it is just too op especially in the one piece universe. In One piece the battle between the strongest can last for hours or even days, that is not going to be the case with the gas gas fruit. A few minutes of not being able to breath or breathing in whatever you have changed the air to, and the job is done.

I think I'd go with the rumble rumble fruit because double damage received doesn't sound like a good time because of the darkness darkness fruit. But I think the number 3 besides those 2 I'd go with the chilly chilly fruit just because I'd never have to worry about the possibility of drowning on top of the power up I'd receive.

The Rumble Rumble, and the Chill Chill fruits are absolutely broken AF. The ability to control electromagnetism by manipulating EM fields or entropy(allows you to take/absorb energy infinitely) its self. If Aokiji knew what he had NO WAY he would have lost to Akainu, same with Enel and Luffy.
@- SageAegis - The goro goro is better than the jiki jiki. And he used precise EM field manipulation to shape his bo staff into a very ornate trident and formed the gold around luffy's arm.
Light fruit + Observation Haki + Germa Suit = You are never getting hit by any attack ever again.

Before I even watched the video I picked the lightning fruit . I know the manga has the highest DPS but nah the lightning fruit mixed with every tech , martial arts , range attacks . Island being vaporised in seconds .. with top tier Haki oh nahhh !!! Who needs a crew after getting that fruit 😂🤣😂it’s ridiculous
