    I think you're getting better and better at the visual presentation of your projects. Sure, that's only the aspect of esthetics which is rather exaggerated today, but it has its meaning and it needs hard work. So congrats and keep growing this year!

    Hey guys!! Last video of the year! I hope you are all having an amazing new years eve. Hopefully better than mine. I am no joke on the floor watching Blender beginner tutorials on Skillshare because my building is too crazy for me to comprehend hahaha! Hi, i've watched some of your videos especially Photoshop tutorial and i get really interested to learn. But tbh i don't know how to start, i mean what should i learn first and what to do to improve the skill? Thank you in advance.

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  5 років тому +1

      I think the best start is to learn proper modelling softwares and rendering such as sketchup, blender, maya, 3ds max.. etc and then learn how to do final touches in photoshop.

      You may share the final design once you are done! It would be great to see that design! Plus also share how the presentation goes, with some add ons and critiques you have got! All the best! 👍👍

    Nice... New video.About the fonts I believe going with simple ones is better for presenting so to keep it easy to understand for everyone.I have a suggestion with your new project- why don't you make your design overlapping and imposing with the existing building ( something similar to Jewish museum, the overlap of old with new building ) ? Is that feasible in that site ? Well just a suggestion. And yea !! Happy New year!!

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  5 років тому +1

      Yes, I totally agree! I will do something contrasting however not like the Jewish museum because everyone knows I love Libeskind. I feel that it would be expected of me to do something like him haha. Have a look at the TAICHUNG CITY CULTURAL CENTER by Peter Eisenman. That is currently my precedent.

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  5 років тому +1

      Yess! It will rise above the existing much like the Antwerp Building by Zaha Hadid but mainly clusters of forms like Eisenman and Gehry

    I am taking part in a competition, any suggestions of how to show every design detail in a single a1 landscape sheet with ideal sizes of fonts, views sizes and other major things to keep in mind. Plus the way the whole sheet harmonises with the concept!
    If I win, lol I will sponsor you to come to India, and we can see some architecture marvels! I guess I am being over ambitious, but yes that’s how one should see life, what say! 🤭🤭😅😅

    I got a question considering university:
    Where I am studying we have a lot of group assignments and because there is no real entry exam, some people just "try out" architecture and vanish after a year or two. Working with these people is a pain because they neither work nor communicate with you. Now I´m far from being good enough to do the work of several people but because I want to get better , I´d like to finish my projects with some quality..
    Have you got any tips on how to handle this situation?

    so my lecturer told us to print the board and i have no idea how im gonna print A0 size paper cause i pretty sure nobody prints that size at least in my town so any ideas what should i do so that it'll look good ?

    • @kabaktatls
      @kabaktatls 5 років тому +1

      luka tigishvili hey, you may try printing your board in two a1 size paper instead of one a0 size paper. and after that you can glue the a1 size papers on a corrugated cardboard or something like that. autocad has the “iso expand a1” option maybe you can give it a shot :)

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  5 років тому +2

      Try what *Esraemk* suggested, glueing or taping paper together to make an A0. You could also not glue them together and use the edges as margins. Could have a strong composition as well

      What abt this??? www.google.co.in/search?q=a0+size&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-in&client=safari#imgrc=6JBLDNAD3p2sAM:
      I mean you can play around with the sheet sizes not exactly in the golden rectangle way but more of a jigsaw puzzle! And then compose drawings accordingly!!! Lol I did that way and the jurors were like -interesting!!
