Absolutely. Breathtaking. To paraphrase Frasier in "The Good Son": "If you've got really fine pieces pieces of art, it doesn't matter if they match. They will go together." Bravo to everyone involved in this labor of love.
If you only paid attention to the script, its style, and timing, it's extremely clear these creators care so deeply about the source material. And then come the vocal performances and ever-dynamic visuals. Such love went into making this and it's no surprise. What shines through is a beautiful love letter to the inter-character banter in between each story beat. What a tribute.
Cool! I hadn't thought about the drumming as the laugh track! I need to rewatch with that in mind, was going to anyway! Funny, Frasier is my go to rewatch show, so I'll add this remake to the mix! Great job!! ❤
Eric Bauza as Frasier is AMAZING!!! Bugs bunny himself. And it was great to see so many sideshow Bob references 😂 Thank you Jacob for running this amazing project- so much love went into it- even down to the postcard credits!
I was convinced everyone was the original voice actor most of the way thru, with a peculiarity of Niles that I couldn't place.. only to find out they are all different voice talent
18:45 "Might have to buy a funny little dog and move in with Frederick." And the crack of Fate thundered across the cosmos. 30 years later, he's DOOMED.
The release of this magnum opus of a ‘toon is fortuitous for me: I am taking an online course in stop motion animation. I have been a fan of the art for over 50years, man & boy. I even shook Mel Blanc’s hand at a corporate Xmas party in the early ‘60s. This beautiful hommage to the wonders of animation will inspire me to explore the genre even more. And, of course, I am sharing this with my instructors and the rest of the class. Kudos to all!!
I’m so glad this appeared in my recommended, this was phenomenal! Props to everyone involved who worked on each art style I can only imagine how much time and effort this all took. You should all be proud for such a brilliant fan project!
the numerous of people from all walks of life working on this gives us a glimmer of hope for humanity when we need it most. Epic job everyone and please be open to the reboot. :)
Absolutely incredible achievement, congratulations to all the artists involved. Its amazing that a show produced 30 years still has such a dedicated fanbase.
2:37 - 2:42 Y'know, I'm actually in love with the skeleton puppeteering. I can even imagine skeletons speaking in Transatlantic accents and drinking coffee! Bravo to the puppeteers, and bravo to everybody who made this remake!
The creators of that section, Zachary Sigelko and Kelly Baron told us they augmented each skull so that Niles had a more pronounced cleft chin and Frasier had an enlarged cranium. Amazing attention to detail.
This is a really beautiful project. It highlights everyone’s unique gifts and talents and how they bring something different to the table in order to create such a lovely product! I love Frasier, but I’m more impressed with how much beauty was created by so many different individuals here. ❤ amazing work to all!
There is a handkerchief somewhere outhere with Roz and Frasier stitched onto it. Also this is amazing and beautiful and I love it. Particularly the Visage of Maris in her throne
I only heard about this last week and instantly wrote it off as "another reanimated that gets 70% done but nothing comes of it" Thank you for surprising me
(Animator for that section here): I'm so glad you liked it! I wrote that just to make myself laugh, so it means a lot you noticed! There is more text, just because I wrote it all out so the spacing looked right. Here we go, the full two pages of text, sloppy purple prose and everything: "Chapter 127 “You know, just the other night dad was watching TV and I had fallen asleep on the couch and suddenly I stirred, I felt something on my head, and dad was standing above me stroking my hair.”
Frasier felt somehow very exposed in that moment, as he described what should have been an everyday event. But for him, this had been a thunderclap to his psyche-his own father admitting that he might not entirely be disappointed in him. He knew it wasn’t rational, but hell you couldn’t make it through a single night in a certain seedy bar in Boston that he knew of, without learning that people aren’t exactly rational actors. This kind of practical life experience is what made Dr. Crane-he didn't like to think of himself that way, but if the people insist...-love therapy. But he also knew this was the sort of self-defeating and juvenile mode of thinking therapy was supposed to cure. Niles, his ridiculous dandy of a brother was maybe the only one who might understand him. But Frasier wasn’t sure that this semi- stranger of a brother would listen. Or, if he was honest, if he could express himself. If Frasier was going to be honest with himself, he wasn’t sure if he really couldn’t stand Niles, or couldn’t stand how much Niles reminded Frasier of himself. Was he the Niles to Roz? To his Dad? What would little Frederick think about his father when he grew up-would he be the sage wise elder, or simply the doddering old fool who cared more for a fine merlot than his son’s life, hopes, and dreams.
These were the moments Frasier wished his mother was still around. Someone who could hold him close and tell him that everything was going to be okay. But instead, due to the wreckage of Frasier’s life, the closest he had to that was a father who couldn’t admit he liked him, and a fop of a brother. (next page) “Dad?” Niles asked, hav ing trouble keeping the incredulity out of his voice. It wasn’t that he didn’t believe it was possible-far from it, Dr. Crane (and yes, that’s how he referred to himself internally) had always thought that Martin secretly held fondness for his sons. But rather Dr. Crane had always hoped that the affect ion would be directed towards him, the normal son, instead of his pompous brother Frasier. Notice though that Frasier didn’t warrant the same “Doctor” that Dr. Niles Crane did. Naturally. He didn’t try to be a snob, it just was hard not to let boy hood jealousies..."
@@davidburgis3292 Thank you very much (and sorry for the late response). It makes for nice insight into the internal thoughts of the two leads here, and makes me wish for a tie-in novel series (there's been many for several mystery shows over the years -- MONK, MURDER SHE WROTE, etc.). Good luck on any further creative works -- both literary and graphic -- in the future!
Wow, what an achievement! So many fantastic animation segments, and the voice acting was phenomenal. I've been following this project for months, and it exceeded my already high expectations. This was the perfect episode for it too. I forgot how existential it was. Massive applause to everyone who participated in putting this masterclass Frasier homage together!!
That. Was. Epic. !!! I could watch 10 more times! I was afraid to blink for fear of missing something! THANK YOU for breaking down the batches at the end, can't believe all those variations were crammed into one episode! Brilliantly done!! ❤❤❤🥹🥹👏👏
Absolutely outstanding from beginning to very end. I'm left as breathless as Niles upon seeing Frasier's 1882 Parisian chess set by Jean-Francois Blon (designed while attending L'Ecole des Beaux Arts).
Magnificent, I never watched Fraser but this makes me appreciate it with magical delight. Thanks to all the great artists who collaborated in the creation.
It's very interesting watching that first scene without a laugh track. Despite the visuals being so whacky, the conversation feels much more normal. Like, you could definitely overhear a conversation like this at a coffee shop.
Congrats to everyone involved! I’ve been following along ever since I saw it pop up on my Instagram a few months ago. This was such a labor of intense love and it shows. It was thoroughly enjoyable and now I wish I had participated too! Great job everyone!
Same! I waited to get home to watch, too good to waste watching at work. I hooked it up to the big screen too, so I didn't have to watch on my phone. Glad I did, so much to see!! 😍
So cool!!! One idea: can each artist take a frame of their scene? It would be cool to make a collage out of all those, who knows maybe people can even print them out and put them in a frame. Would love to have some of these on my wall.
I was thinking just the other day that it would be cool to do this with the original Night of the Living Dead, from start to finish, only you could use the actual audio, because it's in the public domain.
Super fair comment. I did one of the AI sections and one of the (more traditionally) animated sections. As the creator of this project overall, I will say that my thoughts on AI as a tool evolved quite a bit from when this was started in March 2023 to when it was finished seven months later. I'm not certain I would have allowed the use of generative AI at the outset if I were to start the whole thing again now.
I didn't know this was being made until it popped up in my feed. That was a fun watch. Overall the cast was good, but Bauza's Frasier was uncanny. It was an extra level if surreal knowing Master Splinter was the lead.
Post your easter egg time codes here!
10:48 - Frasier's head is based on Kirk's drawing of Dignity from the Simpsons
12:10 - Lady!
9:19 - Kurt Cobain enters Nervosa!
6:40 Kelsey's notorious _other_ role as Sideshow Bob

This might be the best reply we've gotten. Thank you. #Eclectic
so proud to have been part of this! what a gorgeous project
Incredibly stylish. This remake is already eminent, while the reboot eminence is merely imminent.
If you only paid attention to the script, its style, and timing, it's extremely clear these creators care so deeply about the source material. What a tribute.
To anyone foolhardy enough as to intend to watch the reboot before the remake:
Put down that mango, my dear. It’s time to taste the forbidden fruit.
This both tossed my salad and scrambled my eggs.
OH MY GOSH so many different mediums, styles, and visual gags!! Everyone did an amazing job!! This was an AMAZING project to be a part of!!!
Really loved finally seeing this! Amazing work by everyone - and the jazz drumming laugh track was inspired
I was batches 32-33, and 92-93, for anyone curious
Cool! I hadn't thought about the drumming as the laugh track! I need to rewatch with that in mind, was going to anyway! Funny, Frasier is my go to rewatch show, so I'll add this remake to the mix! Great job!! ❤
So great seeing the creators in the comments so we can check out your channels to see more of your creations!! ❤❤

There is no other Bugs than Mel Blanc
Bauza's Frasier is uncanny at times. He nails Grammer's drop into lower register when being sarcastic
18:45 "Might have to buy a funny little dog and move in with Frederick." And the crack of Fate thundered across the cosmos. 30 years later, he's DOOMED.

This remake video made the internet better. And wonderful for John Mahoney to be immortalised in so many beautiful forms.

The artist starting from 13:03 really caught my attention. Very unique expressive style. Left me wanting more.

Bumbershoot is not a word that Brits use and I don’t know why the writers think that it is. We call them umbrellas or sometimes brollys.
Absolutely incredible achievement, congratulations to all the artists involved. Its amazing that a show produced 30 years still has such a dedicated fanbase.
This ruled! Can't believe all the creativity that went into making this. Looking forward to re-watching and catching even more fun stuff!
The level and amount of talent in here is staggering. This is one of the best things I have ever seen. Grazie mille!
The answer to a question nobody asked: what would watching Frasier on shrooms looks like?
Thank you to any and every one who took part in this beautiful homage! Simply wonderful!

This is art. No...not just art-it's a masterpiece.
This is the cutest waiting screen I've ever seen. I'm so excited!
The X-Men reference SENT ME
This was gold from start to finish! Bravo to the entire team involved with this!!!
I'm between jobs and yesterday was a rough day for me so thank you for starting today with such a wonderful art piece.
Glad you enjoyed it! Wishing you easy days and good mental health :)
This is a damn masterpiece.

I need more of the Frasier Five!
Excellent work, everybody! Glad to have been a part of this project (Batch 016)
Every second of this was fantastic!
This is so well done....as a huge fan of the show, thank you!
4:34 - "Did your eyebrow just move?!"
The sweat beads on the Frasier entity :D
Maybe the animation seems a bit confused, well maybe, but I got it pegged. 10/10
Came out really well! Happy to have been part of this collab! Hope everyone enjoys it!
Oh that sideshow bob impression was PERFECT
As a huge Fraiser fan randomly stumbling onto this video, my jaw is dropping from the sheer unadulterated kino I'm witnessing.
Absolutely amazing interpretation of one of my favourite Frasier episodes. I doth my cap to all those involved in making this nervosa masterpiece!
The most unique thing I’ve ever seen, and Eric bauza as Frasier is incredible. I already know this will be better than the entire reboot
Wonderful to watch! Thank you for the hard work creating this!!
Thanks for having me 🙏 so happy to be a part of this 😊✨❤️ 4:21
So fun, and trippy! Awesome job!! 😊😊
I have not been able to stop smiling since watching this. Thank you, so much.
