    This story was made into a play in Nottingham and Jacob spoke after, his victims mum was even in the audience. Such a heart wrenching story and a fantastic play by James Graham.

      If I am not mistaken, James' parents have taken a huge role in his life... Please correct me if I am wrong... Cheers xo

    People need to realize that a punch or a push can easily kill someone. Unless you’re defending yourself is it really worth the risk of killing someone or permanently disabling them?

    Someone in my local town only served 6 months for manslaughter.

    Maybe I'm missing something because I've never had any desire or inclination to get into a physical fight , but I'm always baffled at this sense of disbelief that people express when they're in a situation like this.....as if they're truly confused that purposely trying to physically hurt someone does, indeed, result in someone being physically hurt. Like, what were they expecting to happen? It's really not difficult - if you don't want to cause somebody physical harm then just....don't do things that will cause physical harm. Groundbreaking, I know.

      what Are you on about ? most punches dont end in death.
      you have obviously never been in a real life situation, you cant walk away most of the time

      @@Anonymous20-j9x Correct. I don't interact with people who have to resort to violence to solve disagreements. Believe it or not, there are plenty of us out there for whom actual, adult communication is perfectly sufficient. Bonus points: you don't end up whining on national television about how you "accidentally" killed someone with your uncontrollable, thuggish violence.

      @OhCrumbs96 I agree with what your saying but the other comment is right, most punches aren't fatal, he could've punched 100 different people and odds are they'd all survive, that being said however it is a known thing that can happen and you should never punch someone and be surprised at a bad outcome

  • @Igor_ogi

    He’s a murderer indeed. And a lucky one at that. He should be in jail.

      Agree. All I heard in this interview was me me me. Saying he never thought about the victim or parents is insane, this mentality doesn't just change. And clearly it hasn't because everything he said was all about him and his life smh

    • @chloed1924
      @chloed1924 3 місяці тому +10

      @@AM-dk5ym he was talking about how he HAD never thought about the victim UNTIL engaging with RJ. So he was demonstrating his change, not showing he hasn't changed. Also, many of the qns were about him and he answered them, hence why it was sometimes "me me me". But he also spoke about the victim and their family.

    murder is a funny charge, you can be justified in killing but still charged with murder

    • @anirudhbhattacharya6085
      @anirudhbhattacharya6085 Рік тому +2

      Not necessarily. And he wasn't charged with murder, he was charged with manslaughter, which is what a person is charged with for unintentionally killing someone. And killing is in fact justified and overlooked in circumstances of self-defense. However, there are very strict conditions for the same which is why it's not easy to prove in court.

    This guy is not a murderer. I'm not saying this to console him. He's just not. He was a violent kid who got really unlucky that his victim died. Sad for both of them. So yeah he was wrong to punch him but he's just factually not a murderer.

    • @doctorninetytwo3300
      @doctorninetytwo3300 2 години тому

      having watched a more recent interview yesterday i wouldn't even say he was violent! He was just a kid backing up his mates but failing to ask what happened first

      @keifer7813 2 години тому

      @doctorninetytwo3300 On Ladbible? I watched it too. He says his mate was arguing with the victim and then he punched the victim. So definitely was a violent person at the time

    Dont mean to add a comic spin..... but kimbo never killed any of his street fight opponents (thank god.... and touch wood).... i think he got very unlucky..... but yes its indispensable to learn from this story and to ALWAYS AVOID an altercation. I think some bouncers do a stellar job and they get hate for they're aggression but they have to..... so they can save lives.
