I remember wanting to learn The Dark Isle so badly in my youth...
I was a good little wee piper. I knew lots of slow airs, some marches, and even a jig!
But, whenever my older brother played The Dark Isle on his pipes the whole room would experience a deep soul-stirring shudder. What a powerful tune!
I said to myself, "I wish I could play The Dark Isle like my older brother!" 😮
