Church sales I found the most gold for ¢50 ..2 weekends ago got a $800 14k XOXO necklace for ¢50 ..three others pieces that were 14k and all added up to 1800 for less than $20. I gave a little extra cuz I felt bad, but was so stoked❤
I feel much better after watching this video. I’ve found several single loop earrings that are 10,14, and 18k. I’ve been holding on to them just because I knew they’re gold. Glad to know KP represents real gold and isn’t plated or something. 🙂 Thanks. Good looking out. 😎
great info i knew most, but the part about the spring in the clasp, sticking to magnet, is good to know, i will make sure i test areas other than just the clasp when magnet testing! thanks seeker!💫✨⚡️🙂❤️
Thanks for the info. I do reselling part time and have been looking to learn about some other items to branch out. I know I'm probably not going to find that $2,000 ring for 50 cents, but at least I know what to look for!
Church yard sales ate the best especially these baptist southern ones. They always have real gold hewlery for sale i end up with a good few hundred follars in profit at every one i go to
Great Video, next one on sterling/925???? in all of its forms. I have been tresure hunting for years and only sold 1 time (when I needed a divorce)... I have ounces of gold and pounds of silver,
Hi I have a bracelet. Marked 825 China. Can’t tell if it’s gold or silver should I buy a jar of that liquid you ut jewelry in to clean and tell for sure without ruining the piece
Is there any scrap value at all for gold filled items? I basically got two 12kt GF tie clips for free the other weekend at an estate sale. Just curious if it would be worth my time to take it to a local gold buyer for a quick profit
I think it is important to note that there are springs in the clasps of most bracelets and necklaces that will be magnets and stick to the magnet. That will still be fine.
@@SilverSeeker Very true. But I am also looking at stones, not just metal content. Which is why I use the loup to look for hallmarks and then stones. Even a junk ring can have real stones that you can remove and utilize for another piece of jewelry. I know you are concentrating on metal, which is super important, but I look farther into the possibilities. Metal isn't the only thing that will hold value if the physical money is dissolved in favor of Ecommerce! Just my thoughts. Thanks for replying! 😊
Great video So what I do I have a magnifying app on my phone 📱 And I have a small magnet glued to the back of my phone 📱 I always have my phone with me ✅
unrealated question. What is you take on pure nickel canadian nickels, before 1982 they were .999 Ni. i have been stacking them for a while, but doesn't really go up in value. I do it just to say i have pure nickel bars, but value in the long run? i hve about 200$ of face value in pure nickel
Don't park your car under the floating electro magnet, would make the 1st place on what not to do with cars and magnets, especially when you're sitting on neodyms🤔
I think it's extremely unethical to knowingly buy gold from someone who is ignorant that they have gold. It's like fooling a blind man into thinking he's giving you a $1 bill when he's giving you $100 bill.
At a yard sale? Disagree... the person holding the sale didn't pay you to come be an expert and appraise his goods, and if he didn't take the time to research the items before he put them on sale at his own yard sale then that's on him. Now if he say walked into a coin or gold shop and they gave him bad info or lied to him then yes, that's unethical.
In 1982 my mom bought me a guitar at a yard sale from an old lady for $50. The paint was warn. It was a 1956 Fender Stratocaster. 🤑
I’d easily hustle yo mama for that guitar bro

Hahaha, my comment from a year ago was from the same church. I totally forgot about that comment 😂
This last weekend found a 14k white gold bracelet for $1 and it weighs 8.4 dwt. I love church yard sales, thank you old ladies 😁
thank you for the info im sure iv missed a lot of opportunity at yard sales because i didn't know how to check them
Exactly what I bring, a little neodymium magnet and a small jewel eye magifyer

Can you make a sequel on silver markings for silverware?
Thanks for the info. I do reselling part time and have been looking to learn about some other items to branch out. I know I'm probably not going to find that $2,000 ring for 50 cents, but at least I know what to look for!
This is what I needed
Right?
Great class. I pan for gold and I have never seen any of these markings on the flakes and nuggets. 😂😂😂
Another brilliant video sir. Thanks for the info.
Thx for the info 🥇🥈 my mom and my brother in-law mom like buying gold and silver jewelry at yard sales or flea market.. great info man very helpful
Thankyou.
Thank you for tha heads up
Thank you for the video. That is info that I really didn't know and needed to know
Excellent video keep up the good work
Thanks for the informative video. I didn't know about the numbers being used, except for sterling is 925, so that was new to me.

Awesome video an a good layout/presentation.
Thanks for the video,really educational
Top notch info. As usual. Thanks Seeker!
I loved this video!😊👍
Thank you for the awareness
Awesome video, really helpful. Do you have a similar video for silver?
Great info for people who do go to yard sales and estate sales. SALUTE
What does GS marking mean ?

925 is the marker for sterling silver
Great insights!! We just had a community yard sale last week. This would've been great then lol.. I'll have this ready for my next hunt!

I love yard sales, great video
I got some good fines at yard sales! 🤞
What did you do, steal something?🤔

Great information, Seeker !
Thanks for this premium content
I just bring my loup. I don't usually need the magnet. I found a couple of weeks ago an Emerald ring at an estate sale for $5. Score!
Magnet just saves time. If there are 10 rings and 9 are magnetic then you only need to inspect one

Do people not look at you funny or ask what you are doing with that loupe?
@@ms.coleman4535 Nope
I but just about every piece of gold and silve it can find at yard sales.
😂 was it a perfect circle from the magnet
Great video
So what I do
I have a magnifying app on my phone 📱

Call Musk for an offer
I have tons oh hard drive magnets . LOL
Hey superstars!
Heya Mr. Stacker! Pretty sure you were the Palladium Member featured at the end of this video at the top! ;)
@@SilverSeeker woot woot!!
Do people not get suspicious when they see you using a loupe or magnet at yard sales? Some people really watch you closely at yard sales
Isn't PURE gold actually 28k?
Nop.. 24k is pure.
Look for old, thin gold filled spectacles. I found a pair for a dollar.

@@SilverSeeker Once a blind guy gave me a $100 bill instead of a $1 bill. He should have taken the time to research.
@@TheBigMclargehuge that is far from an equivalent situation.... wow
First
Wish u would have done a hypo situation on how much to pay at sale for. such items.
I did a video talking about how to price them and linked it in the description
