Console version doesn't have garmoth boss yet as world boss but guild boss. And we got it as event to test it now as (4 times)world boss and its not nice. Nice video to see it doesn't rubber band or lag too much
New to BDO, I've been following the story quests and I've come across this fight. Is 'The Last Ritual' quest Garmoth separate from the 'World Boss' Garmoth ? Really struggling to complete the quest
I was wondering if you have a more recent video of fighting this dragon since it now moves around a lot more and isn't easy to stick near its back legs. Kept dying and resurrect at a "safe zone" (which was on a stone platform near the edge of the area with some stone steps) and the dragon would come to the supposed safe zone and attack me again. Decided to give up for now and will try again when higher level (currently 58)
New(er) player question: Does Garmoth spawn in that wide-open swamp area, or is there a special cave or something? - I made the mistake of going to kill Kutum the first time yesterday, and had to (luckily) return later last night to Kill him in that cavern. I appreciate helping me. No one seems to tell you if there is a cave or something you have to run into or if you just PATH there. Thanks!
Garmoth was no problem really, the most people I know who have a hard time (getting FInal Chapter of the post-Grad quest) struggle to reach that quests AP/DP requirements. Cause basically being unlucky or not having a geared main means you can not finish that quest. My Season Character for example was royally screwed by RNG any I only managed to get sub Wep PEN, Armor and other Wep only TET and Accs.......let's just say I broke a lot. I could just go to my main and auto finish the quest but for those that bascially started with Season they are pretty much stuck. Cause basically most of the egar needs to be bought and you'd need like 14B silver (in my Season Character-fail case) to get there.

this video needs an update. first you need to accept a quest from the NPC 'Kukao'. the quest 'Gotta Frame It, Garmmoth' is repeatable up to 3 times a week. the fight is about the same but no longer have the Kagtiums to fight.
Yea it definitely poops consoles out. Tried getting some hits on her for the quest and the event while i was getting ready for work. Lagfest and delayed damage on enemies. Ended up having my character seize up before a huge aoe. Got killed, tried rezzing with fairy's tear, console said "nah mate, we'll see youn in the closest town" and game froze at loading screen. Relogged and ran there to get my loot and quest completion, but there was nothing there for me. I know i participated because i was attacking her and kagtums for over a minute. FML, we'll see what they reply to my ticket with.
I hope my nova can run before those aoe skill hit the ground. This will be the last boss i need to finish early graduation. Thanks again for the tips. Also what is your PC spec it looks like you are in Remasterd while doing world boss.
@@EvilDoUsHarm Thanks im on the hunt for new gaming laptop because im too mobile. but not sure how well gtx 1660 ti on laptop can handle this i don't want to play in potato mode.
Why NA have it hard on killing kagtums? In eu they die real quick. Okay so first AOE attack (Fire rain) just dodge and you'll be fine, doesn't even do much damage. AOE after Kagtums just run outside of the circle, plenty of time and don't rush after, he'll land and go for a second AOE. Be patient and you won't die. If anyone dies it's on that attack most oftenly. Cronmoth is rather easy WB you can easily do it.

I haven't fought world bosses in ages, but recently I needed to kill Nouver and Garmoth. Seeing how both are dragons, I have to say, the Nouver fight was much more entertaining and better rewarding, I was very disappointed with the Gormoth fight.
I set an alarm and woke up at 2am for Nouver, I dont remember much other than making sure I tagged it, and spammed health poitions for 10 minutes till it died :P

there is not much you can do about it. He ist just strictly op. so best thing to do, is to use an alt who you don't mind dying

Garmoth has been completely reworked... sometimes I forget about these older videos. I'll add it to the list of ones to remake

Silly question, but do I need to be in a group to fight the boss? Or can I jump in solo and participate in the fight with whoever is there?

The only bossfight I can do is at 9:00 AM on console and that’s not even on the pst schedule is bdo unorganized or is this all by design?

You can’t solo a world boss it’s health is shared through all servers. Maybe you mean the quest line Garmoth.

there is a quest to fight Garmoth but i can not complete it, do i have to complete it with a party or what?
if you can't kill it by yourself getting a party together to kill it will also complete the quest objective.

I haven't fought world bosses in ages, but recently I needed to kill Nouver and Garmoth. Seeing how both are dragons, I have to say, the Nouver fight was much more entertaining and better rewarding, I was very disappointed with the Gormoth fight.
