Concern's Youth Climate Ambassador visits Kenya!

As part of her role as Youth Climate Ambassador, Dearbhla Richardson visited Kenya with Concern in September to see how climate change is affecting rural communities.
In Turkana County - one of the areas most affected by drought - Dearbhla met with pastoralists who are changing their way of life to adapt to climate change. She says: "The communities I met with were resilient and knew exactly what they needed to sustain their livelihoods."
Concern is supporting these farmers through climate-smart programmes, like desilting canals and rehabilitating boreholes, to help them in the fight against climate change.
