Hey, i'm getting a pair of new XM3s for about 110 usd. They are sealed and have a manufacture date of October 2019.Do you have an idea about the earcup and battery degradation? Thanks
Oh, nice! The batteries definitely could have lost some use. I'd kill them off to 0 percent, then fully charge them and see how long they'd last. If you're some what of a do it yourselfer, you can buy replacement batteries for around 15$. www.ifixit.com/Guide/Sony+WH-1000XM3+Battery+Replacement/147364
These are better than the Xb910n's. These feel better in the hands, if you drop them they'll stay together. The sound quality is also better. The xb910n have more bass added. But you can move around the EQ for the wh1000xm3's. The only true win for the xb910n's is their battery life. Which is roughly 150% of the wh1000xm3s. But the wh1000xm3s have a battery life of around 27 hours. So unless you have a specific need for 35 hours of playback without charging. I would pick up these headphones.
