My vid quality was low so I couldn't really see the dmg text properly
What kills it for me as a Roamer is that they removed the Magic Defense gain from his passive which is really cool imo. Could've been a really great setup/meatshield tank

@@jetherarroz1118doesn't provide magic defense though. It just provides physical def which can easily be countered by PEN items

Is the dmg reduction calculated before or after defense is taken into account like gatots and belericks passive trigger?
And can it be countered by items like sea halberd, asn or support talent and the like?
Now I realize no cooldown on twilight passive might be too broken, any hybrid fighters or tanks can just get it early and there's no need to worry about getting bursted down regardless if the enemy have high penetration or HP based damage
A possible solution to fix this is to add a limit to the amount of damaged reduced, maybe around 1500
nah 800 is balanced but i respect your opinion

@@insertname9514 nah.. It not good.. Tank has been bullied by lunox, Karrie, burst heroes with hp based damage.. So it fair for the tank to have this. But i agree about fighter ones... I think moonton should revert it to original where you need more hp to reduce the damage.. But instead applied once every 5 second cd..make it no cd.. And you can see it benefit tank more than fighter
tank meta will be back with this item, even tank killer like lunox or karrie will down since the damage reduction is too much

My build recommendation for grock:
Rapid boots, Rose Gold Meteor (30hybrid def), BOD (80 phy def), Oracle (25 hybrid def + more passive regen), Twilight (25 phy def, and burst reduction, which is already a counter to most mages), dominance
This build has more than enough phy def with decent magic def. Though continuous dmg mage might be a lil annoying for him, but why worry when u can just flick ult and burst them. Or maybe, pick him when enemy magic dmg is not continuous (not natan or kimmy), he is all good for all situations
Not enough HP. Also Dominance gives 70 physical defence and provide more utility compared to BOD(also because it's too expensive)
But other than that, it's fine
@@captainmarba1504 high hp regen, no need high max hp. For example uranus is more of a regen booster build instead of max hp build - cdr oriented instead of items like guardian helmet, curse helmet
@@captainmarba1504 the max hp isnt low too tbh. Around 300 from common emblem (i use this coz of his mana consumption), around 700 from oracle, 1200 from twilight

And I've just realised that i love and hate the twilight armour now as a roam/exp user. I love it as a tank user but i hate it as an exp laner because my main hero for exp is X-borg and his ult now can be countered by the advance twilight armour bcz it has no cooldown. The old one has a cooldown and i use ult when it's on cooldown.

That actually bad item for roaming. . . But for exp should be fine

I think burst now day turn into multiple hit burst unlike in the old day aldos, selena and granger were the most nuts burst you can think of... but now they do multiple hit worth of Burst and then now lunox get in the roster to... while cool down for twilight really kill its potential after it got remove it pretty much just block damage but from single hit hero and yet this game is 5v5 so if anyone crying it still the tank because we the one in front but got the most less items menus in the game and so much hard hitter and we need to s*cks it up to me that not fair... Now we can do something last time tank meta is a thing it also because twilight turn into "offensive" def item like thunder belt and curse helmet and it turned into trinity for tank "offensive" ... I still glad that meta now abit died out it is bland but still it alright... Now everyone can at least survive a burst... But of course jungle assassin's that can do finisher will be on the rise... A bit killing for assassin's roam though but hey they them self is not easy to play with against good mapper so better this way....

Grock suddenly became a META is because of the Game of the Future tournaments.
His passive needs a rework cus the way he needs the walls to activate it is not very useful cus he will be force to move away sometimes and his 2nd skill projectile needs a bit more speed even his ult

Playing Grock feels like it heavily relies on either having better teammates, potato enemies, or sheer luck.
That's after his biggest nerf when his role is changed to tank fighter.
