- Discover REGENSBURG: Historic Charm of Bavaria - Top Things to Do!
Regensburg is an amazing medieval town on the banks of the Danube River just begging to be discovered. One of the best-preserved medieval old towns in Germany has an impressive Gothic cathedral, an old stone bridge, and the colorful river islands. No wonder that Regensburg’s rich cultural and architectural heritage is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Sites. I’m a tour guide and I’m excited to show you Regensburg, Germany.

Thankyou so much for such precise videos, really helping me plan my trip. One question - if i can only visit one for my once in lifetime bucket trip to Europe which one should i select in June mid month - Rothenburg or Regensburg - for a day trip from Munich?
Thanks 🤗 I would go with Rothenburg.
Great video. Pleased to have found you!
Thanks. Happy you like it 🤗
What is the closest place going there Rok? Its so Beautiful. We have just been in Laufenberg Germany and Switzerland yesterday. You should vlog it. It's really beautiful.
Thanks 🤗 Munich or Frankfurt are the best starting points for exploring the entire Bavaria.
@rokgoesaround I'll definitely add this in my bucketlists
Regensburg native here
Munich or Nuremberg are the best starting points. Both citys are just an hour away. We are right between these two cities. 😉
Frankfurt is over 3,5 hours by train and ca. 3 to 4 hours by car. Depends on the constriction sites.
To choose Munich or Nuremberg depends on what you want to see or do on your trip. Nuremberg is a great starting point for the north of bavaria with citys like Bamberg, Bayreuth and Würzburg. Munich is for the south with the Alps, Neuschwanstein Castle and the Allgäu. Reach out to me if you wanna know more.
04:14 What's the most interesting about organ? They have no supports at all! The multitonne structure is hanging from ceiling on four metal rods!
Thanks for adding this info. Appreciated.
Hello, what's the camera you're using? Great video and info
Thanks. I use several cameras, but my main one is currently Sony A7SIII.
