After a year of listening to this song, I genuinely think this is one of the most beautiful compositions ever made. Everytime I hear it, it takes me on a different journey. There are just so many emotionally captivating moments throughout the song. Also, the interplay between the 'pure' and the slightly distorted synths sounds absolutely gorgeous.

This one tells me the journey of an underdog: someone who is rises to the challenge but not expected to succeed (our protagonist). The odds are stacked against them, they get knocked down repeatedly. They get up each time, refusing to stay down, knowing that they need to try harder. I imagine a journey of some kind, to find a teacher that is willing to help them. Initially, the teacher refuses, seeing the same thing that everyone else does. Eventually, after witnessing the protagonists dedication and perseverance, the teacher agrees to help. To me, this piece feels like a "part 1" and would love to hear more.
