The video on applying attars and our oils, the introductions to areej and to ruhkhus. You create so much value for subscribers. I hope god continues to give you wealth so you can enjoy these perfumes.

Awesome video...being a victim myself, I totally agree with the "frag head fluctuation syndrome".😂 areej le dore is just awesome. Of course because of its performance and history. But i do have a soft corner for natural ingredients. To my nose, no matter how sophisticated is the synthetic molecule, it somehow fails to give the 3D effect of the natural accord. It's just like a Swarovski crystal and a diamond. A diamond is a diamond. It never needed advertising! So are natural ingredients.
Such is my love for kannauj. Nikhil, I've randomly come across a brand called kannaujattars. Website with the same name. I got some info on it from the website. And would love to hear ur opinion on it. Best wishes.

What I do now is divide my fragrances up by season, and only allow myself to wear ONE fragrance per week, and if I like it a lot, per month. I usually end up falling in love with that fragrance over the week because I get to know all the little details and how it reacts with the time of day. The great thing is, when I return to that fragrance, there is a specific memory imprinted with it and it feels great. It helps give me a sense of order. Stay healthy everyone

Nikhil also it would be great if you make a video on layering of perfumes. I have always had a question...if d base note is so lasting and powerful how can we not smell it upfront. How does a perfume changes smell?

If you are reading, it will be idyllic to see the sandalwood scents with you at the moment. What note can sooth ones senses in these times than sandalwood.

@@nikhilsfrags yea I was about to suggest you to make a new video on Sandalwood. Not just perfume but also on how to make our rooms smells like sandal. As you have said in one of your video, Sandal is the only fragrance that most indians know of ( including me). Maybe you can tell us about burning sandal wood chips as room fragrance and also something about fumigation for our clothes ( I hope I am not using some wrong terms here)

Honestly I think Russian Adam mistakenly swapped the names between War and Peace and Antiquity. He could have easily switch the names between the two fragrances to better portray the ingredients IMO.

Hello Nikhil, this question is off topic so I apologise. I just need some advice from someone of your experience. I’m new to artisanal Oud, and was about to purchase Ensar’s Oud Yaqoub after some research when I came across a bottle of ASQ Kalakassi 80 year aged from 2011. Is this ASQ at the level of Ensar? Your help will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

    • @gamalsaleh2361

Exotic Scents I was only tempted by ASQ after watching your video, as I am aware that their new stuff is not of the same quality. Correct me if I am wrong, but batches sold before 2012 is considered vintage? Thank you for your input brother Nikhil.

Sir what sandalwood oil are you using these days? I saw both of your videos on sandalwood, but those oils aren't available anymore. Cauvery emporium is out of stock since November, I even called their showrooms in different cities. And I bought from Ali brothers but it's more light in colour now, unlike dark colour in your video. So tell me sir where can I find the closest experience to Mysore sandal.

    • @o2xb

I am still not sure if I should get W&P II. But I LOVE Antiquity. It is like a hybrid of vintage (before 70s) Shalimar, Vol de Nuit, Cuir De Russie extraits drenched in oudy smoke. Just gorgeous stuff. Imagine an Antiquity Part II attar as and when he acquires enough raw materials. Oh boy. Enjoyed your excellent assessment as usual. I want to see Adam giving us three perfumes highlighting blue lotus, karo karounde and gardenia with tons of animalics and ouds in supporting roles.❤️
