It’s sad that not all countries have caught on to this interesting sport. It’s a great alternative to Basketball. Seems like it takes less time to play a game, and it’s non-contact. What I found strange is the on-the-surface lack of defense when a player attempts a goal at the goal line. No one really does anything and the players just tosses it in. In America, we love an even dose of offense to defense ratio. I’ll say, I have seen some turnovers and defensive/offensive rebounds as well and that’s good. I’ll have to learn a bit more about the sport. Why is it mainly a woman’s sport though. It doesn’t really seem like only women could play. I’ve seen controversy with men’s teams-it’s seemingly not widely embraced. We have it sometimes here in the US at the college level but, it’s few and far between. This sport needs to be bigger, it’s needs more media coverage and there needs to be a men and women’s division as well as a mixed team division with a good amount of teams within a reliable league.
