Mr. Williams I fully agree people these days do not keep a spotless house, growing up as a child in a home where there was seven of us and a one parent home, our mother taught us to always clean up behind ourselves and always make a positive impact on people who may visit your home, too this day those values our mother taught us are still present.

Yep, I had to use mine to cool off a compressor last week….love it

I put a shutoff on my compressor cool tool so I can turn it off at the till instead of at the shutoff valve. I use that on my recovery tanks also to keep it cool while I recover refrigerant. It keeps the recovery machine from going into high pressure and shutting off

My oh my, the interior of that home was a complete slobs house. (Maybe it was a bad day). The return grill itself hasn't been cleaned in a decade unless the air in Texas is super dirty or they leave doors and windows open while the HVAC is running. Folks this late in filter changing need to be told to buy a case of filters so its more convenient and enter the change date on their phone's calendar to repeat every 90 to 120 days.
Today's hand tools for the motor nuts and grill screws were were a let down. I like the PVC idea for those reversing wires that tend to get weathered and look bad. The original acorn nuts could have been used for cosmetic reasons after the motor nuts, on top. No biggie. New Cap, new motor, amp check, charge check, temp check, clean the condenser and monitor for 15 minutes. All good. On the motor rotation, the manufacturers usually state rotation from the "lead end" or the end that the wires exit as you look toward it. Prior to removing the existing motor, is it reasonable to look at the fan blade to note what direction it needs to turn to pull the air up? That would give the rotation requirement if its not listed on the existing motor. Once that is noted, easy peasy after all is disassembled. It happens.
