  • Part two! I’ve worked on countless TV shows over the years and one thing I’ve learned, behind the scenes of TV is NOTHING like people think! This is just part 2 of my experiences working in TV, these are my personal opinions and may or may not accurately represent several unnamed major networks ;)

    Honestly it seems like a lot of these producers have never felt the consequences of their actions when it comes to confrontation. Animal abuse, slow painful deaths by spear in fake "survival" situations, and making animals out to be more dangerous and aggressive than they are are all cruel and needless in educational programming. Thanks for shedding a light on how dirty this side of the television industry actually is. I personally hunt and fish, but also have a great respect for the animals I'm pursuing. Any deaths will be as quick and painless as possible, with all due respect given to the animal. I know you might not agree totally with my lifestyle, but I feel as if we're on the same page with how animals should be treated. Thank you for all the work you, your girlfriend, and your team do to educate the public. It seems like we need alternative educational programming to teach people true information, instead of the over dramatic fluffed up scenes shown on a lot of shows today.

    It's good to hear that you stand up for your principles and not submit yourself to the ridiculous whims and demands of producers who only wish to spice up their shows without regard for their educational value. That's why I only watch your videos.

    Chill the water to keep Casper sedate.... baahhhaaaa... what eejits! There is a gator place here in Colorado (Colorado Gators Reptile Park) that on sunny winter days the 'gators will pull themselves out of their geothermal pool flop out _on the snow_ to catch the warm sun- they are amazing resilient critters (such a trip seeing 'gators laying in snow)

    I've been following you (and Gabby) for a while now. Animal abuse pisses me off like no other. Anyone who would willing abuse an animal is a coward in my book and I am so grateful for people like yourself and Gabby for standing up for those who can't stand up for themselves. All the best for your animal sanctuary Chris and good vibes to both you and Gabby

    Heck yeah I've been waiting for this one. Someone was also talking about some of the downfalls of acting on fb. It's some crazy stuff. I wanted my son to become an actor but seeing and hearing what goes on in that career I 100 percent changed my mind and I don't want my son to go through that crap. He wants to work with animals and I am for it. I want to work with animals as well.

    It's good to hear not everyone just rolls over and does what the producers want especially when there is misinformation and just things that put the animal in a bad light. Enough people are scare of reptiles. Heck I was one of them, but as I learn more about them the more I see they are just trying to live in a world thats constantly changing thanks to what humans do. My whole family has changed the way they view snakes and other wildlife like spiders just from watching people like you on UA-cam. Thank you for what you do!!

    Keep up the great work Chris. I'm with you no animal should ever be hurt, so people can look tough. If you can't handle the animal correctly then don't handle the animal.

    Sometimes you have to stand up for what you know is true. Those producers do a great disservice to those animals and to viewers. It could even lead to extinction as they’re hunted so much. Especially here in Florida where there’s even a yearly competition to catch the snakes.

    Love the info you put out! I’ve always been into animals and now I’m passing my knowledge down to my kids.
    Even more cringe is the people that think they know more than you because they have xyz. My knowledge served me well with my wife’s ex sister in law. Because she was a veterinarians assistant, she thought she knew more than I did. I purposed a simple challenge of picking any 3 animals of our choosing and see who could name them. She failed all of them, I nailed all of hers. That shut her up for a while.

    I’m genuinely curious in the question I am asking. Please know I am not being rude.
    Why does he only “stalk” and tries to “bite your legs” only under the water? Is it a malicious bite or is it a territorial bite? Or is it Casper trying to be playful? I really am just curious. I love watching you and gabby and have learned so much about gators. Thank you for sharing these things. Now I will be more hesitant to watch these shows. I don’t like the “reality survival “ shows but i do like animal documentaries and I love shark week. But I will be more hesitant to watch those shows as watching is supporting and why they continue to come out. Had no idea it was like this at all. I hate people.

    Maybe you have talked about it and I can't recall or remember, but why does he start "creeping" around whne he's underwater? Is it just the way of alligators, like instinctive or is there some other specific reason, cause I would assume he knows that those legs still belong to you, or it just dosnt matter for him and he is an opportunistic predator and that's just something they do when they get a chance?

    Are you allowed to say which animal shows have correct information? I saw one show where a wildlife conservationist working with mugger crocodiles, says he has witnessed them protecting each other. He said that they caught the croc and, it started making a bellowing sound which drew in more crocodiles. Have you heard anything about that?

    • @GatorChris_
      @GatorChris_  9 місяців тому +3

      I haven’t heard of that, but without knowing the situation very well, it sounds like they were coming in predatory to take advantage of the situation. When a rabbit is being attacked by a predator it screams not to attract other helpful rabbits, but to attract another predator that will attack the situation and the rabbit hopes to escape in the chaos.

Especially for surfers because a person on a surfbahd looks like a seal to a shahak. And humans make splashing in watah, which is a dinner bell. Moral, stay out of watah if shahrks are there. there

    I ABSOLUTELY HATE when I try to educate someone about something that they know nothing and they automatically tell me that I'm wrong and what I said was bs. My parents do that constantly so I can't talk to them about hardly anything. My mom tried SOOOOO hard to tell me I'm wrong about cicadas NOT having stingers and she Googled it for herself and proved her own self wrong but her always having to be right about everything, still thought she was right even though Google told her she was wrong too.🤣🤣🤣🤣
