I think the reason it was so expensive is because when you loaded your file from before the winter update, the time cube price didn’t update either until you rebirthed

you get about 100Q every rebirth, so once you get to 9 rebirths, it’ll start costing gold since it’s over 999Q (the max amount of money you can get)
