I’m not sure if these videos help me choose or just make me more indecisive
To help you out, I'll share some details but not to persuade you to pick.
So the Aya Neo is more expensive than Steam Deck unlike before. However, Aya Neo doesn't support long-term support. Every 6 months, they release a new updated model rendering the previous off.
As for Steam Deck, mostly updates but is supported for long-term.
Question, will you spend several times for a console or buy once which goes long-lasting?
*I don't know much about OneEx console so I can't tell you about it.
@@ラズダトゥ thank you
@@zachl8425 you're welcome
Honestly these handheld pcs are amazing , this is legit the future . Love these things gonna get the asus rog ally soon so stooked
Got my steam deck for $250, 256gb ssd, and 500gb SD card. You can't beat that price.
your home looks cozy af...fr
You can put windows on the deck and it works great, been running mw2 multiplayer on low to medium setting at a stable 60fps
*Asus Rog Ally* has entered the chat
@@sup3r-d4n1-bgIt isn't worth the upgrade. It doesn't run SteamOS and the higher specs are practically useless if you're not plugged in all the time.
@@fabiandrinksmilk6205 it doesn't make sense replying to me cuz the comment from pizzaomc was about putting windows on the deck and all I did is to comment that the ally has windows stock
Steam Deck I had all 3 for two weeks and I settled for the Steam Deck. The Price/Performance is crazy and I just love this device. You can use is as a Handheld Computer. Valve made it a soo smooth experience. You can browse the Web and Valve made their thoughts about anything. The other Platforms are just klunky and have a smaller Screen. Also im now a Linux lover. Never used a Linux System before but damn, it’s a snappy system that let you do what want and has no bullshit menues that hide shit from you.
So would it be able to play Steam and Xbox marketplace games ?
@@stoniegadg3t-music345 Steam sure, it’s the steam deck from valve. Xbox Marketplace not, but who uses this? Xbox Gamepass via cloud works great.
And you can run any normal windows game just fine, even Epic store and the most games from there work. You also can install Windows via dual boot if you want both systems and from there you could use Windows Marked place or play games that can’t run on Steam OS because of anti cheat like Overwatch 2.
But if you really want you can run any game with the steam deck. There is always a way. ;) even a way to play Nintendo Switch games on the steam deck, but pssst. ;p
Though the steam deck has a nice stick placement...
Also Valve has just released the Steam Deck OLED that is faster, clearer, longer battery life, faster charging, etc. The OLED also has 512GB and its only $550. Also you can easily upgrade storage with a fast 1TB Micro SD or an internal m.2. Also it has emudeck which is freaking awesome for emulating the games of your childhood. I have one and its worth every penny. If you're thinking about getting one then get one you won't be dissapointed.
Love my ROG Ally. A full Windows gaming handheld that can be had for $700.
I got the base model for $400 brand new and couldn't be happier with it!!!👍💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
I got the Ally X. Best thing on the market right now. It made Steam Deck look like a baby's toy
Be wary of any of the Chinese ones. If a year later yours needs repair or parts. It will be a pain to replace or to get to support. Love the one x and ay but steam deck is more trustworthy long term
Can't say much about the others but aya neo has best support. Even after 2 years my screen broke but got free RMA to China nothing out of my pocket.
The Legion Go is the best, the screen is fantastic and immersive!
That’s the one thing I love about the deck it has it’s own unique operating system.
I always tell people use one thats atleast a bit popular so that the device keeps getting support
Valve making the steam deck a linux based system is the one of the biggest Ws ever
Steam Deck FTW!
Imagine not having Windows as a downside lol
“It’s small but feels great in your hand” is how I met my wife
Sadly it’s 700-1000 smackaronies in Canada😭
i mean we are consistently around 30c down from USD lol. too bad we still can't get paid like it though
Steam deck for sure. I already deal with enough windows issues on my PC. Nice to have something running a simple operating system that doesn’t break all the time. Plus I have abnormally long fingers. The other systems shown look really uncomfortable like the Nintendo switch
I literally screamed when he said 1500 😂😂
I will probably buy this, great review!
*GPD Win 4 Has Entered the chat*
You can change the steam deck software
Steamdeck blows them all away
fr
Rog ally extreme ❤
Nobody talking that they look like a switch
Dual charging?
You can run windows on a steam deck really easily
It's a shit experience tho and it'll never be good
litterally the key selling point of the steam deck is the fact that it's not running middows 11/10
Windows is a huge app (and more) that does a LOT. Linux is like having a phone with nothing but calls, no wifi, no data, no camera, etc.
No, the selling point is the cost, being the poor man's choice that can't run crap
Awesome!! I’ll be buying myself one of these in 5 years😂
The fact that all those (except Steam Deck) cost over 1000 and yet my $500 PC is still more powerful 💀
Yeah but your PC is likely not as portable that's the trade off
Big time doubt
@@Beskar181 that’s why you can still get the steam deck and have all options for a cheaper price
@@Beskar181 There's a reason why they removed steam deck from being overpriced in the comment
Even the launch day Xbox one is slightly worse than the 1k+ handhelds
Rog ally for the Win
RE U SERIOUS? HAVING LINUX AS ITS OS IS WHAT MAKES IT BETTER THAN THE OTHER ONES, THAT'S WHY VERIFIED GAMES RUN BETTER ON IT.
Lol not having BLOATdows is a plus in a handheld.
I had a rog ally and I just couldn't do it. Went right to Deck OLED and couldn't be happier
"I love that it's small but it's great in your hand"
steamdeck takes it tbf
The last one looks like a gamegear i missed that hand-held it was before its time 🤣🤣
I like the trackpads form the steam deck. Pacific games works with it so well like Terraria with building and so many others
I use the steam deck as my PC, doesn't work with parsec and need a capture card though, APU doesn't have a good obs codec.
He literally hate the one thing I love about steam deck
Using steam os
ROG Ally Z1 extreme…daily updates are making this thing an extreme beast. Same with the Deck. Bought a huge power bank capable of charging it three times lol for when I fly internationally.
Anyone old enough to remember gamboy pocket???
I used to have a Gameboy Micro. Remember that? I guess they made it so women would buy it, but nobody did. Had Mario Bros 3. Was cool but impractical. I don't want to squint.
Now that I finally purchased a steam deck I can’t watch any new handheld videos! I don’t want any buyers remorse. 🤞
