My cousin had schizophrenia she would always tell us about one thing and that was somebody named "Ivan" she was thinking about her childhood dog named Ivan . She would continue to say this until she passed away . And this had been happening since the death of her dog in the age of 7
as someone who gets scared of every little thing, watching people play horror games is so comforting for some reason, the viewers being goofy asf in the chat helps too😭

when i was younger i watched a lot of csi shows with my mom at night and i had a real fear of this too. I would constantly be thinking about how a random stranger could break in at any moment and hurt me or my family. The amount of nights i would spend not falling asleep until like 5-6 am was insane, now that im an adult ive come to the conclusion that if it does end of happening its just unlucky and its fate, i have too many other problems to be worried about like bills and shit lmfao

I have schizophrenia, but before I developed that I had excessive paranoia just like you, but I somehow cured it so I had almost no paranoia, just a little bit. But seeing the mannequin appear to move after a whisper saying that they are out to get me, made me scream in my insides for caseoh did not look back at it if it was coming for him.
I started to watch Case’s videos couple of weeks ago when I was sick and now his videos are becoming my late night routine’s while I’m in my cozy bed and my heater’s on. It feels so peaceful
This game is very interesting on how it shows you schizophrenia, once I was sleeping over with my schizophrenic friend in 8th grade. He woke me up and was very frightened pointing at the hallway saying there is a demon, I had to remind him multiple times that night he was schizophrenic
Similar happened to me. She has depressions for over 4 years. Doctors told her it won't get any better. Pretty recently she was about to commit suicide. Fortunately I wasn't sleeping at the time so I managed to convince her not to do so, but I don't know for how long 😔

I think you should have added a disclaimer about schizophrenia. It often goes undiagnosed, or mistreated. Early diagnosis is best before a complete mental break. Schizophrenia will often show symptoms in teenage years, and will then lay dormant until around the age of 22. Be aware of family medical history as a predisposition to it is something you will want to know about as drastic life changing events can cause symptoms. Paranoia is usually severe and cause very real delusions. Visual hallucinations do not happen in most cases, but auditory do. Know what your internal voice sounds like. You SHOULD NOT be hearing anything externally. Delusions of grandeur, seeking hidden messages in reading material, radio, or television are all signs of schizophrenia. If you have any symptoms of schizophrenia please seek medical attention. The people at the hospital are your friends and they will help you. Do not try to self medicate. The drugs and alcohol are just another way for them to control your mind.
At first i thought of case as the "haha man gets roasted all the time for being fat" guy. But having watched a few of these vids now, his personality is pretty neat and his content funny and enjoyable. From his reactions to the commentary. Never before did i think i could enjoy content like he puts out ☠ Case if u ever see this comment, stay great. I can't imagine what living with severe instance of this is like. I have mild hallucinations, like I go up close an can see the tiny legs and details on em etc. Sometimes I hear voices like they were spoken right next to my ear. Or I feel something there when I "know" it ain't. Stuff like this makes you question the little things. Not enough to fundamentally change my day or mood. But enough to add up with anxiety.

This is actually pretty interesting, my girlfriend has Schizophrenia and has described some of her hallucinations to be tall faceless victorian women following her, and sometimes small rats dancing in circles ANYWAY. This game looks pretty neat, i might show this to my girlfriend to see if its somewhat accurate experience wise (she loves horror)
Yeah, auditory hallucinations are very common for schizophrenic peeps. Though, what they hear sometimes differ. My boyfriend hears his name getting called out every so often.

I agree, with the final sentiment that the game passed, that finding the right medication is vital.
